21 guns; green day

~

It was the day of Luke's case and Luke was shitting himself. Like he had to almost change his jeans two times. Calum in the other hand is calm and collected. He has been trying to tell Luke over the phone that it's going to be fine and that they're going to win.

"Luke it's fine, okay?" Calum said parking his car right in front of of the courthouse.

"Yeah–yeah, see you soon, mommy" Luke joked as Calum groaned and smiled fondly.

Calum walked up to the court room assigned and saw Luke standing outside with a nice black velvet like blazer and a black button shirt and usual jeans and his boots. To say Luke looked nice was a understatement.

He smiled at himself and went to greet Luke who was not aware Calum has been staring at him.

"Hey criminal" Calum whispered in Luke's ear making him jump and turn around.

"Don't ever say that or do that, you're such a douche" Luke said smiling which Calum could not take his threat seriously.

"It's about to start are you ready, Lukey?" Calum asked entering with Luke into the court room at the same time and Calum placed his stuff down and took out evidence and some other papers.

"No..." Luke said in a soft tone and his eyes seemed bigger and bluer than a few minutes ago and his pink thin lips in a adorable pout and all his heart do was beat fast and grown with each second he looked at look in his pouty state.

"It's okay, I'm here" Calum said soothingly as he carefully placed his hand at the back of Luke's back guiding him towards the room.

They we'e seated as the judge sat down and began.

First came up Calum confidently saying that his client supposedly trapped Miss June Smalls in a closet where she expired severe trauma since of her claustrophobia.

"But I asked for June's toxicology test to see if she was under any type of influence just to make sure and it turns out she was under the influence of marijuana, acid, and the amount of .017 of alcohol in her system and which that's way over the legal limit" Calum said handing the paper to the judge as she read it over and looked at June with shame and continued to read.

"And as some may know some of the effects of marijuana are panic, sensory distortion, and anxiety; and your honor I believe this could have been the cause of her little trauma and not my clients fault" Calum finished feeling cocky and proud as Luke looked at him in awe, because damn he was good.

The judge excused Calum as June's lawyer was now speaking "Yes your honor I would like to call Luke to the stand, please" she said with a smug look.

Luke looked at Calum with a scared look, since he wasn't ready to be in the stand or to be asked questions, Calum just placed his hand onto Lukes' thigh and whispered in this ear "It's okay, Lukey, I'm here" and giving him a reassuring squeeze and smile.

Luke gulped all of his nervousness and blushed. He was feeling all times of emotions. He was scared because of the trial, yet when Calum calls him Lukey or smiles at him he feels like he is going to explode. Not butterflies, explosions, like his touch or glances are pyrotechnics. He can't explain the way his insides feel or what they do.
