Karlie stepped off of the plane onto a wet tarmac. They must have just had a quick July rain before they landed and it smelt like summer. As she waited for her bags Karlie checked her phone. Cara had texted her.

Call me when you land! xoxox

Karlie replied.

Just grabbing my bad now. xx

As she walked through customs the model's phone rang.

"Hello."

"Where are you!?" Cara asked excitedly.

"Just walking out of the building now to grab a cab. I'll be there soon!"

"I don't think there will be any need for a cab," Cara said.

"What are you-"

Karlie was cut off when someone pulled her in for a huge hug, strong enough to knock her to the ground. The model quickly realized it was Cara.

"Hey!" Karlie laughed returning the hug.

"Hi," Cara replied into the model's neck.

Karlie could feel the blonde's heart thump as they hugged heart to heart. Slowly their pulses returned to normal.

"You took fucking forever," Cara said finally releasing her grip.

Karlie rolled her eyes. "Customs."

The blonde nodded, understanding the hassle.

"So do you have a car or..."
"Obviously," Cara replied grabbing the suitcase. "I won't be driving unfortunately though."

"I think you mean fortunately."

"You say to-may-toe I say to-mah-toe."

Karlie laughed at the blonde's English accent.

Cara rolled the bags around to the back of the car where the driver loaded them in. The girls hopped in the back seat.

"So how is the hotel?" Karlie asked.

"Actually, really amazing. We have this amazing sound system and a beautiful view and a full kitchen which I'm sure you'll love."

"Sounds like a dream," Karlie said with a grin. "So what have you been up to all day?"

"Walked around a bit but got paped so I took a nap in the hotel. Thrilling I know," Cara replied. "Oh actually I'm meeting up with some friends who happen to be in town. I'll only be out for a few hours. Do you mind if I go?"

"Now?" Karlie asked, quickly realizing that Cara was a little more dressed up than her usual attire.

"Yeah, we shouldn't be long. Plus I figured you'd want to unpack and plan work stuff and whatever."

"Oh yeah I guess. That's fine."

"Ugh sweet you're the best," Cara said as she turned to the driver to update him on their pit stop.

When they reached their destination Cara turned to her girlfriend.

"I'll see you super soon ok?"
Karlie smiled and nodded.

Cara returned the smile and gave the model a quick kiss.

"I missed you," the blonde said.

"I missed you too."
