Otis Redding- I've Been Loving You Too Long
Ellie Goulding- Don't Need Nobody

"Baby when are you getting home?"
"Soon I promise," Taylor replied. "Just putting finishing touches on this song demo."
"It's a demo. I thought they were supposed to be rough," Karlie replied.
Taylor sighed, "Love..."
"I know, you're a perfectionist."
"Give me like 10 more minutes and I'll head out. I need to hear it one more time."
"Ok."
Taylor smiled. "Thank you. I loveeee youuu."
"Yeah yeah. Just get that cute butt over here."
Taylor giggled. "Will do. Byeee."
"Bye babe."
Karlie put her phone down on the kitchen counted and walked over to put candles in the middle of the dinning room table. Tonight was supposed to be date night but Karlie had a feeling that Taylor wasn't going to be up for going out after the long day she had. So, Karlie had done a little cooking. She puttered around, cleaning up the kitchen and perfecting her dinner while she waited. There was still something missing...
Karlie smiled realizing exactly what it was.
She connected her phone to the Bluetooth system that linked with the various speakers around the house and selected some classic Otis Redding.
Just as the music began to play the front door opened and in walked Taylor. She tossed her bag down and took off her coat. Not quite realizing what she was getting herself into. When she was met with a romantic table to two full of mouth watering food and her girlfriend in a sexy dress with a red lip, Taylor's jaw dropped.
"I thought you may like a night in," Karlie said gliding over to her, looking effortlessly beautiful as she pushed some hair behind Taylor's ear and rubbed her cheek with her thumb.
Taylor's heart was thumping so loud as she gazed into bright green eyes.
"I...this is...I love you so much thank you. This is exactly what I needed."
The small smile Karlie was showing grew at Taylor's words.
"I love you too," she said kissing Taylor on the cheek and gliding her hand down the singer's arm, linking their fingers. She parted from Taylor's hot skin and walked them over to the table.
"I tried a few new recipes so let me know what you think," Karlie said passing some food to Taylor.
"This all looks amazing," the blonde replied. "What cuisine is it?"
"Mediterranean. They do a lot of vegetable dishes and fish so I figured that's pretty much all I eat, besides cookies of course, so I should learn to make it."
Taylor took a bite. "Oh my god Karlie. This is so good!"
"Really? You like it?"
Taylor nodded quickly taking another bite.
"You're not just saying this so you don't have to do all the cooking?"
Taylor rolled her eyes. "Would I lie to you?"
Karlie just shrugged but Taylor could see the smile the model was trying to hide as she took another bite.
They continued dinner as they normally would. Karlie asking Taylor about the song she was working on and the singer asking Karlie about the paper she was currently struggling with.
