"Seriously what do you want for your birthday?" Karlie asked for what felt like the thousandth time.

"Seriously nothing. I don't need some big event, you don't have to do that for me... oh and maybe some more polaroid film would be nice," Taylor replied stretching out even more across the couch, almost touching Karlie at the other end.
Karlie squinted her eyes, "you're incredibly frustrating."

Taylor giggled, "I have everything I need," she said stretching to push Karlie's waist with her toes.

Karlie flinched and giggled. "What do you get for the girl that has everything?" she said looking around the apartment.

Taylor rolled her eyes. "I don't have everything..."
Karlie's eyes widened, "tell me what you want!"

"More polaroid film," the singer said with a shrug.

"Ughhhh," Karlie groaned, "You're impossible."

Now the blonde felt bad, it was hard to get gifts for significant others especially when both of them had such full lives. Gifts needed to be innovative and creative and Karlie had clearly hit a wall.

"How about a sweet day just the two of us. Like breakfast here and then we just relax all day and maybe go for a quite lunch and then order in pizza or something?"

Karlie looked over at her girlfriend lovingly, she closed her eyes and sighed before returning to blue hopeful eyes. "We both have today off and honestly that's probably what we're going to be doing and it's not even your birthday. How can that be special at all?"

Taylor gave a small smile which grew into a grin.

"Whatttt..." Karlie sighed.

"I really do have everything now that I have you," Taylor said, smile never faltering.

Karlie's smile spread in a similar Taylor's had just done moments ago.

"You're cute," the singer giggled, melting at Taylor's words.

"And here you were thinking you were the cheesy cute one," the singer said rising a brow.

"Nope..." Karlie said standing up, "that is one title I refuse to give up," she stated stubbornly standing up to plug in the iPod they kept by the speakers.

"That's you're go to isn't it?" Taylor asked smiling.

A song started playing through the speakers.

"What is?" Karlie asked turning around with a smirk.

"A little romantic dance."

"Does it work?" Karlie replied offering a hand.

Taylor bit her lip and nodded, taking her girlfriends hand.

Karlie pulled her in tight. "It's my move as long it makes you happy," Karlie whispered into the blonde's ear.

Taylor smiled yet again. Karlie somehow always knew the right thing to say. The singer may right romantic songs but Karlie was the sappy one in this relationship. Taylor had never been on the other side and honestly...she was loving it.
