Adele- When We Were Young
-----
It had been about a month since the girls returned from LA. They had decided to try and keep their public appearances together at a minimum. The media was already getting wind of their 'close friendship' and expected it to be even more now that Cara and Karlie were very obviously over. On a typical day they would call each other in the morning and talk over breakfast, do through their respective days, and usually see one another for dinner at either Karlie's or Taylor's depending on how busy their days were. This was the closest they could get to dating how 'normal people' date. Nevertheless, paps were usually waiting at both apartments making sneaking in or out difficult, especially in the morning.
On this particular Saturday, Karlie had spent the night over at Taylor's. She meant to leave early because she had a big birthday party for the head designer of Balmain that evening and she still hadn't tried on dresses or prepared in the slightest, plus she wanted to get some homework done before being able to full enjoy the weekend. However, things got a little heated and before she knew it she was wrapped up with Taylor in bed and the thought of moving seemed ridiculous. Reality was catching up to her though and she knew she had to get going.
Karlie watched Taylor sleeping soundly, morning rays making her hair more golden then ever before. She leaned forward, lightly pushed aside bangs, and pressed a kiss to her girlfriend's forehead. Taylor stirred a little and slowly opened her eyelids to reveal luminescent blue eyes. The singer gave a sleepy smile and Karlie couldn't help but grin at her adorableness.
"Hi beautiful," she said unable to hide her cheesy ways.
Taylor smile widened as she responded, "Hi sunshine."
Karlie bit her lip to prevent her smile from growing any wider.
Taylor reached up and ran her fingers through the model's hair, as her eyes scanned the taller girls face almost as if she were trying to memorize it. She then very subtly pulled at Karlie's neck, bringing their lips closer as the model lent down for a perfect kiss.
"God I love mornings with you," Karlie whispered when they parted, lips still only inches away from one another.
"You know what would make it even better?" Taylor asked raising an eye brow.
After a month of dating Karlie already knew what that meant, and she lent in for a harder more passionate kiss and then-
"Are you kidding?!" Taylor said pulling away at the sound of Karlie's phone ringing.
"Shh Shh no let it go to voicemail," Karlie insisted meeting lips again.
The phone quieted but then started up again. Who ever it was was persistent.
Taylor pulled away and gave Karlie a knowing look. The model sighed and grabbed her phone, it was her publicist.
"Hello," Karlie said trying not to sound as frustrated as she actually was.
"Oh you're up. Good."
"Well I am now," Karlie mumbled and Taylor gave her a little kick teller the model to be nice to whom ever she was speaking to.
"I wanted to speak to you about tonight."
"Ok."
"We have people coming to your apartment in an hour or so with some dress options."
"Um ok yeah...I'll be there," Karlie said realizing she wouldn't be able to finish what she started moments ago.
"And then you have a car coming at around say 9?"
