Ellie Goulding- The Greatest

Maybe I should just show up and say I'm sorry? No that's too desperate. Maybe I should make her cookies or something and send them over? No that's just pathetic. Should I call her?
Karlie paced back and forth in her living room. She picked up her phone and dialed.
It rang and rang and just when Karlie was about to hang up, "Hello?"
"Hi," Karlie said hesitantly.
"Hi," Taylor responded, no falter in her voice.
"I..." Karlie should have planned this out beforehand.
"Kar?"
"Yeah I... I don't know why I called."
"Oh...ok," Taylor said sounding indifferent which in turn terrified Karlie.
"Am I about to lose you?" Karlie asked boldly.
"No," Taylor answered simply.
It was one word but let Karlie breath. "Can I come over?" she asked still traces of desperation in her voice.
"Karlie it's been two hours since you left," Taylor stated.
"I know and I hate fighting with you even if its been only two hours," Karlie pleaded.
"Just because I answered the phone doesn't mean I'm not still pissed about you lying to me," Taylor said, a sense of frustration returning to her tone.
"How long are you going to be mad at me?" Karlie asked impatiently.
"I don't know... maybe we need a few days apart," Taylor replied, for the first time uncertainty lacing her voice.
"I don't want to do that," Karlie stated stubbornly. "You've become the best part of my day. Why would I want any time apart from you?"
Taylor could feel her walls breaking down fast.
"Come over tomorrow. I'll order some dinner. We can talk."
Karlie could feel the smile spread across her face. "Just tell me when. I'll be there."
"Ok...Goodnight Kar."
"Night babe," Karlie said hanging up, far happier than she expected to be when she dialed the phone.

Karlie ran her fingers though her hair and adjusted her jacket, before knocking on Taylor's door.
The singer opened it and Karlie's eye's immediately widened. The blonde had obviously put on a little extra makeup and was wearing a pair of tight back jeans with a matching black crop top showing off the top of her toned abs.
"You look...wow," Karlie stuttered, eyes absorbing their object of affection.
Taylor let a small smile slip before making her way to the kitchen. There were take out containers all around and the singer returned to the food she had obviously been picking at.
"Ok, lets talk," Taylor said getting right to the point as she pushing around the dinner in the plastic container with a fork.
"Oh um... ok..." Karlie started.
Taylor smirked and shook her head. "Have you not thought of anything to say yet?"
Taylor's sparkling and cheeky, blue eyes looked up to Karlie.
