Twenty One Pilots- Tear in my Heart
-----
There was a knock at Karlie's door.
She's early! Karlie thought to herself as she proceeded to open the door revealing Taylor on the other side.
Taylor smiled, blue eyes sparkling.
They had been dating for a few months but it still made Karlie's heart jump. The model smiled back pulling in Taylor for a bear hug.
"Happy Birthday beautiful," she mumbled into Taylor ear.
Taylor tightened her arms around the taller girl in a thank you.
Karlie held their hug until Taylor parted them.
"I know I'm a little early," the singer said already reading Karlie's mind.
Karlie nodded, "yeah, luckily I wrapped all your presents already but I'm still finishing packing. I don't really know what I should be wearing to your birthday dinner," she said as they walked together into the model's bedroom.
Taylor laughed. "Um sweats, fuzzy socks, a t-shirt."
Karlie frowned, "Really? Won't I be underdressed?"
Taylor giggled, "No, not at all. I wanted this to be the chilliest birthday ever and that means pajama attire."
Karlie assessed what she had already packed. "Well then I definitely packed wrong."
Taylor jumped onto the bed and sat cross legged, ready to help. "How so?"
Karlie held up a black ribbed dress with a zipper that ran from the scoop neck down to the hem of the dress. It would most certainty be a form fitting piece although it probably fell just above Karlie's knee making it not so suggestive.
"Wow..." was all Taylor could say. There were a multitude of reasons why she liked that dress, the zipper being one of them.
"Yeah so that's a no," Karlie said turning to hang it back into her closet.
"Nooo... I like that one," Taylor protested.
Karlie giggled and rolled her eyes. "That's not pajama wear," Karlie replied.
"Ughh," Taylor sighed, now regretting informing Karlie of the 'dress code.'
"Now that I'm thinking about it... this is probably not suitable either," Karlie said carefully pulling something black out of a pocket in her suitcase and walking over to her dresser.
"What is it? Let me seeee," Taylor said sitting up a little trying to see over the model's shoulder.
Karlie turned her head and bit her lip contemplating it and then shook her head giving in as she held up black lacey lingerie, raising an eyebrow.
Taylor couldn't stop her jaw from dropping, eyes darting back and forth between green eyes and black, lacy, material.
"Yeah like I said," Karlie continued, turning back to the drawer, "not suitable."
Taylor wined, "Nooooo," she collapsed onto the bed. "This is the worst!"
Karlie laughed as she stuffed a tee shirt and sweatshirt into her suitcase.
"Hey, you made the dress code," she teased.
Taylor sighed, "I knowwww."
"But tell you what...when we get back..." she said looking into blue eyes raising a suggestive brow."Yeah?" Taylor asked a smirk on her face.
Karlie smiled and nodded. She zipped her suitcase closed.
