Sabina Ddumba- Not Too Young
-------
"You're excited aren't you?" Taylor giggled as she watched her girlfriend bounce along to the song playing in the car.
Karlie grinned, not even trying to deny it, "Yeah I am!"
Taylor had agreed to accompany Karlie to visit her sister in San Francisco because it happened to be the same week that Karlie's mom was visiting. The model jumped around and covered Taylor in kisses when the singer said they could delay their flight home a day or so.
"I'm excited too. It's been a while since I've hung out with your family," Taylor said trying to remember the last time she saw the Kloss clan.
"I know which is a shame because they like you."
"It's all about first impressions," Taylor noted.
"Yeah, which is why I'm surprised your family likes me," Karlie said with a scoff.
"What are you talking about? You had a great first impression," Taylor argued.
"You're joking right?"
"What?"
"Do you seriously not remember your mom walking in on us intensely making about to you know...?"
Taylor instantly went red and covered her face with her hands. "I may have blacked that out."
"It was kind of funny though," the model said thinking back to how hard she laughed at the situation.
"It was mortifying," Taylor said rolling her eyes now.
"We were in it together though," Karlie said taking Taylor's free hand.
"Yeah I guess so," the singer said smiling.
"I know this may sound weird but I think that's when I first realized I was fully in love with you."
Taylor's smile grew but there was an unmistakable note of confusion on her face.
"Really?"
Karlie nodded.
There was a pause. "Why?" Taylor tentatively asked.
"I don't know," Karlie said honestly. "I think it was just that you were so cute when you were embarrassed but I knew we were in it together, like whatever would come our way we would face it together. We were actually doing it, being together, finally."
Taylor's grin game in full force and she brought the back of Karlie's hand to her lips.
"I love you," she said placing a delicate kiss. "You're weird but I love you."
Karlie giggled and grinned. "I'm taking it as a compliment.
"Good," Taylor smiled lovingly.
They sat in comfortable silence for a while, both checking up on work and emails, when Karlie received a text.
"My mom and Kristine are cooking now."
"Aw I wanted to help them," Taylor pouted.
"You know my mom would never let you. You're a guest in the Kloss household. You're only job is to enjoy yourself."
"That does sound like your mom. Mine too actually," Taylor added, now thinking about it.
"It sounds like you too actually," Karlie laughed.
"What are you taking about?" Taylor frowned.
"You're just like that. You're the perfect hostess, making everyone feel a hundred percent comfortable and content, never wanting them to want for anything and taking on the burden of making everything flow smoothly."
