Midnight

Chapter 4: The View

About five days past I stayed inside the house, scared to go out. But now I was confident that he wouldn't hurt me. Maybe it would easy to find him. Last time he came to me. I stood up off of the couch and headed to the kitchen where my mom and aunt were "hey mom could I burrow the car again?" She smiled a little "sure honey but don't stay gone to long." It's weird ever since that night when both me and my mom were in bad moods everyone has been really nice to each other no more yelling. "Thanks. I probably won't be out to long."

I went outside and down to the car. I got in and turned to the side hoping to see him. Nope. Just an empty seat. Where would he be? Maybe the spot I showed him. I decided to drive there because even if he wasn't there I could at least hang there for a while.

Justin POV

Something was telling me to go find Lilly. But as soon as I find her she'll run away. Oh well. Ill go to the spot that she showed me. It's the closest thing I have to her. I got up off the couch and went for the door but was stopped by my brother "where are you going?" Why now of all times? "Somewhere that's none of your business." I tried to step past him but he blocked me "your not going to see that girl are you?"

"No I'm going somewhere else." He let me walk by "better not be lying." Finally freedom. I started running for towards the place.

Lily POV

well. Here I am. No Justin. I got of my car and headed to the grass. I sat down and took out my white iPhone that currently had no case. I looked and saw I had 20 text messages. Probably all from my bests friends Mary and Carla. Yep I was right. They were all hyped up because Mike (Mary's crush) asked out Mary. I sent a reply in the group message "OMG! You'll have to tell me every detail about the date!" They both replied saying "don't worry we will." I smiled "I miss you guys! I wish I could see you!" They both replied pretty much the same thing. I shut my phone off and jammed it into my bag.

I looked out at the view. I still couldn't believe how pretty it was. Wait. What was that? I heard something. I turned around to see but there was nothing. Maybe I'm going crazy. I turned back and there he was. It didn't really scare me that much that he was here. I wanted to hug him but what if he killed me? He looked at me with longing eyes "I missed you." I looked away. Was I have feelings for a vampire? Calm down Lil. Stuff like that only happens in Twilight. But...I don't know. He is nice and he is cute...and sweet. But he eats people. "I don't actually eat people." Wait. He could HEAR my thoughts? Great. "Then what do you eat?" He half smiled "animals." I frowned "that's so sad." He got this serious look in his face "it's the same as you eating a burger." I smiled "ok fine. But will you promise me one thing?" He nodded "well one obviously, please don't eat me." We both laughed "but seriously could you not read my thoughts? It invades my privacy." He smiled "sure thing hun."

Only he would manage to make me mad at a time like this. We both sat silent for a while just starring at the view. Then I felt his soft hand wrap around mine. I squeezed his hand then relaxed it. I leaned against him. We stayed until the sun began to set just talking and talking for hours.
