37: Ashley

- a few days later -

I haven't seen Justin since the night he went crazy. I don't think I can ever see him again. Flashes of him with blood all over his hands and chin keep flashing through my mind. I haven't gotten much much sleep either. I keep having nightmares luckily I don't think anyone in my family noticed. It's winter break right now which means no school for another 3 days. During those 3 days were moving to our new house. I'm so happy, now ill have my own room. Plus the landlord really liked us so she gave us a deal on the house. The house is huge though. It's like a mansion. I'll have my own room, bathroom and walk in closet.

Lily's mom Pov.

I'm worried about Lily. Every night since she sprained her ankle she's been having nightmares. I know she's not telling the truth about how she sprained her ankle but every time I ask she changes the subject. And usually she hangs out with Justin a lot more but she hasn't seen I'm in a while. I don't trust that boy Justin. I know there's something up with him but he used to make Lily happy and now...he makes her sad. I liked that Eric kid but I don't know what happened to him.

Lily's Pov.

I'm actually surprised Justin hasn't texted or called me at all. Right as I thought that my phone started ringing. I looked at my phone, it was from Justin. How cliche. I answered even though I don't really now why I did.

Lily: hello?

Ashley: Lily! Thank god you picked up! We don't know where Justin is! We were hoping you knew where he was.

Lily: what do you mean you don't know where he is?

Ashley: we haven't seen him since we left for our trip. When we came home there was a dead body on the floor with bite marks in it. We were wondering if you knew anything.

Lily: actually yea. But I can't talk here. Do you think you could come and pick me up really quick?

Ashley: sure.

And with that she hung up. I quickly went and got dressed and braided my hair. I heard a nock on the door and I heard my mom answer it. I walked into the living room and to the door. "Hey Ashley!" I said hugging trying to make my mom think nothing was wrong. "Mom I'm going to hang out with Ashley for a little ill be back soon."
