Chapter 12: Justin's plan

Authors note: I'm sorry the updates have been so short but I haven't really had a lot of time to write.

A few days of nothing has passed but I can't get one question out of my head, who is this person trying to kill me? And why? Justin left me at such a bad time. I need answers especially if someone is going to kill me. I was on my way back to Justin's house to get his computer charger. I thought that maybe the computer had died because it needed to charge. I pulled up to his house and Ashley came up to my car. I had already called her to get the charger. She had the charger in her hand. I rolled down my window "I hope you find something I'm getting really worried about his." I grabbed the charger "yea, me too." She looked at me worried "well, I have to go. Bye Lily." I waved at her rolled my window up then drove away.

As soon as I got home I ran upstairs and plugged the computer in. It turned on and asked for a password. I typed in macntosh71. It logged in went to the desktop. Almost as soon as it turned on the screen went blue black. Then Justin's face went back on the screen. His face...I miss it. I didn't recognize the video though, it was different then last time. "Lily, this is the second video I'm making which means you either turned off my computer and restarted it again or it died and you got my charger. Either way, I need to meet you again somewhere. Ill give you the directions...but not here. You'll find them somewhere else. I can't exactly say it out loud incase the person trying to kill hears it. But it's that place we both love that your aunt took you to when you were 5. There you'll find the next video. I love you Lily I'm sorry all this happened."

The computer turned off so I closed it and put it by my bed. I stood up and headed to the living room. "Hey mom, can I burrow your car again?" She smiled at me "where are you going this time?" Great, she probably won't let me leave "I'm going to meet up with some friends from school" she turned around grabbed the keys then threw them at me "ok but don't be gone to long." I smiled at her "don't worry I won't." I turned around and walked outside towards the car.

The drive was short but I was here. At the view that I took Justin to. I got out of my car, the air was wet and foggy. Where would the video be? I went close to the edge and sat down. I looked out at the morning city. I heard a morning bird making a noise behind me. I turned to see what kind of bird it was. It was a blue bird. Something caught my eye. There was a mound of dirt about 3 feet away from me. That wasn't there before. I walked over and started digging. I felt something plastic touch my finger tips. I pulled it out, it was a DVD labeled "Lily" inside a plastic bag.

I quickly stood up and got in my car. I hit the gas and drove home as fast as possible. I wanted to find out what was on this DVD. I could die. My eyes looked left and right frantically while I drove. Finally I was home. I turned the car off and pulled out the key I got out and closed the door making sure to lock the car. I ran up the steps to my apartment "wow! That was fast?" I smiled at her in a rush "yea, plans got canceled on I'm my way there." I threw her the keys "oh that's to bad." Why must this woman stall me?! "Hey listen Lil, we don't really have food at home so we could go out to dinner or I could go pick up something easy from the store." Ugh, I had to get out and watch the tape but I didn't want to be rude to my mom. "Food from the store works" after I said that I quickly slipped out ignoring her other question.

I was finally alone and able to watch the tape. I wasn't sure wether to use my computer or Justin's. I decided to use Justin's to be safe. I turned it on, typed in the password then slipped on in the disk. The same blue black screen came on then another video came on. "Hey Lil. I'm glad you found this. And if your not Lil then please put this back where you found it. Anyways, assuming your Lily. Your in huge danger. But I have a plan to save you. There's a field trip coming up next week that goes on for a week. You'll tell your mom your going, even have her sign the sheet. Pack all the things you would bring to the field trip. Before the bus leaves you'll meet Ashley at school. She'll drive you to an old cabin of ours. Just wait there, there's food, water, everything you'll be safe there I promise." The video shut off and the screen went back to his desktop.

I was still processing all the information he had just given me. A field trip. I didn't know there was going to be a field trip? And where's the cabin? He expects me to just sit at an unknown cabin in a place a don't and do nothing?! That's not going to happen. Especially if someone is trying to kill me! I heard a nock at the front door and heard my mom answer it. I heard a deep voice talking and my moms recognizably high pitched voice talking. "Lily! Someone's here for you!" Who could it be? I opened the bedroom door and walked out. A tallish gruff looking man was standing in the doorway of our house. He had on dark heavy looking clothes and his beard didn't really look to be shaved in a while. "Do I know you?" The man laughed. I didn't even say anything funny. "No no Lily you don't know me, I know you!" Ok this guy was kinda creepy, and his front teeth were missing...ew. "Ha-how do you know me?" The guy smiled "the boss told me about you. He's coming for Lily he told me to tell you. Bye now." The man walked back down our steps and left. What just happened? Who was that guy? Now I'm getting a little bit scared.
