"I know you said she's ok and this happens to everyone who changes but she doesn't seem ok!" I heard Justin yell. Where am I? I slowly opened my eyes then shut them again. The lights burned my eyes. I opened my eyes again. My eyes adjusted. I realized that the room wasn't even that bright. It was actually pretty dim. Why had my eyes hurt so much. And ow my gums. I sat up and heard Ashley say "Justin, she's up." I looked around the room, Justin was running over to me. I felt his arms wrap around mine and he whispered "thank god your ok." I wrapped my arms around him and I felt his breathing get harder "lily to tight" he squeezed out. I loosened my arms and came out of the hug.
I heard a small laugh coming from behind me. "Looks like she's not used to her strength yet" Ashley said. I turned to Justin "am I..." I started to ask but he finished my sentence "yes" he held out his hand so I grabbed it. He walked me over to a mirror. Oh my god. My eyes were a soft red. "Their going to get darker after a few hours. Right now there just changing so their lighter" Ashley said coming to join us. I have to say, I look good with red eyes. I took a step forward to examine them closer. Wow. I can't believe this is actually happening. I turned back to Justin "I'm starving" I said right as I got a huge sent of a deer running out in the woods behind Justin's house.
I ran after it. But not normal running, everything was moving fast. Yet I could see every detail as if I was running normal. Somehow my legs knew where to go and I didn't trip at all. Soon I stopped and crouched behind a tree. There it is. I slowly crept up behind it not wanting to cause attention. I felt my fangs come out of my canines. It felt so weird being a vampire...it was cool. I jumped forward grabbing the animal and jabbing my teeth into it's soft juicy flesh.
Authors note: sorry it's short. I had no time to write at all today except this morning I'm so sorry. Tomorrow ill hopefully be finishing up this book and maybe starting the sequel? We'll see. Anyways I just wanted to get something out so you guys wouldn't be left on a cliff hanger
