Midnight

40: So we meet again

Justin's Pov.

After I gained control of myself I started to watch Lily. I wanted to make sure she was safe without me causing trouble for her. She's moved into a bigger house and her life has gotten much better. But I can't help feel like she's sad. I know me leaving was tough for her but she should have let go by now. I can't be the reason for her sadness. Lily was going out with Ashley, Zoe, and Amy. I was quietly following them making sure not to look suspicious. They were shopping at the Thousand Oaks mall, which is and outdoor mall. I wanted to run up and kiss Lily so badly but I'm the reason everything happened to her. Her and her friends were laughing at a joke when I accidentally tripped on a bag that someone must have left. I caught myself and didn't fall but I made a loud noise and all the girls turned around.

Lily's Pov.

I heard someone fall behind me so I turned to see if they were ok. But to my surprise no one was there, there was only a purse on the ground. Hm. Whoever it was must have left. Just then Amy said "that was weird. Oh well lets go into Forever 21." We all nodded in agreement then headed in. Something didn't feel right though, like someone was watching me. Oh who am I kidding I'm in a public mall! There's probably someone looking at me. I quickly turned my head just to make sure. I saw a dark figure dart into a store. The went inside the store faster then a normal person. Maybe it Justin? No. I'm loosing my mind. I turned back around and headed into Forever 21 with the other girls.

Justin's Pov.

That was close. Lily almost saw me. I walked back out of the store I had to hide in and went into Forever 21. All the girls were surrounded by a rack of clothing talking about what they liked and what they didn't. I didn't want to seem suspicious but I put my black hoody on and it hid my whole face. I headed over to the men's clothing and started to fake look at the clothes. The girls were giggling about something when someone opened the door letting in a huge wind blowing off my hood. Right as this happened Lily glanced up at me. It all happened too fast, I couldn't run out. Lily's mouth dropped and she got a shocked look on her face.

Ashley's Pov.

Someone had opened the door and let in a wind. I looked over at the door to see who had opened it and realized Lily was looking at something with an open mouth. I heard her softly mouth the word "Justin." I turned to see what she was looking at. "Oh my god." I started running to Justin to hug him "where have you been?!?!" I asked wrapping my arms around him. He seemed distracted. Oh right. He probably wants to see Lily. In a matter of seconds he shoved me off of him.

Justin's Pov.

Now was the only time I could do this. I pushed Ashley off me and walked over to Lily. I wrapped my arms around her and picked her up so her head was level with mine. She wrapped her arms around my neck. We stared at each other in the eyes for a second then I leaned forward and kissed her. I wish this moment could last forever. "So we meet again." her soft voice said while her beautiful blue eyes stared into my eyes. I wish I could stay with Lily forever.
