Chapter 25: Getting Better

I woke up some time later. I don't know how much later. I was in my bedroom. I turned to look around and saw a note on my bedside table. I leaned over and picked it up.

Dear Lily,

Me and Tom (your brother) have gone out to the grocery store to get food your aunt is out with some friends. The neighbors are home so if you need anything their there.

I set the note back down and went to stand up. A shot of pain went all the way up my back. I winced but still kept going. I walked into the kitchen, I'm starving. I opened the pantry and started to look for something good. I looked for a few minutes then gave up and went to the fridge. I grabbed an apple then went back to my room. I grabbed my computer and sat on my bed. I opened my slick silver Mac book air and turned it on. I don't remember much but I do remember my favorite show, vampire diaries. I went to Netflix, thank god it was already logged on. I put on my how and started watching.

After watching 1 season of vampire dairies my phone started ringing.

Lily: hello?

Justin: hey. How are you? The hospital wouldn't let me see you.

Lily: I'm good. Justin I miss you so much.

Justin: I miss you too.

Lily: I'm so sorry I was ignoring you. I don't even-

Justin: it's ok. Do you want me to come over there?

Lily: yes. I'm home alone. I don't know when my family will me back.

Justin: ok. Ill see you soon. Love you.

Lily: love you too.

I hung up and turned to my computer. I shut it off and put it away. I into the bathroom to wash up a bit and realized I was still in the clothes I was wearing when I got in the accident. There was mud and blood stains all over my clothes. I went into my closet and picked out an outfit from the clothes Justin bought me. I just decided to throw on some jean shorts and a plain t-shirt. I heard a nock on the front door. It was probably Justin. I went into the bathroom and quickly brushed my hair then went to the front door. I opened it and felt his big strong arms wrap around me.

"I was so worried Lily." He said. I hugged him back. "Are you ok?" He asked coming out of the hug to look me in the eyes. "Yes. The doctors said I can't remember some stuff in my life." After I said that he softly grabbed my chin and lifted my face up looking me straight in the eyes. "It could be worse." He said comforting me.

Justin's Pov.

I was worried that Lily was worse then what she was saying. But I didn't want to worry her. I let her chin go and embraced her in another hug. I lifted up her up, holding her upper body in my left arm and her legs in my right arm. I carried her into her room and set her in her bed laying down next to her. She rolled over and rested her head on my chest while her arm was laid across my stomach. I started stroking her head. "I'm so sorry all this happened to you Lily. It's all my fault and I'm sorry." She looked up at my with an angry face. "It's not your fault." She said trying to comfort me.

"I love you." I said. She leaned up and kissed me on the lips "I love you too." I could tell she was tired. She rested head back on my shoulder. I went bak to stroking her head. After a while she fell asleep.

-a few hours later-

Lily's Pov.

I woke up in my bed with the blankets over me. Justin must have left me. I heard a noise in the kitchen. Please be my mom not Roderick. I walked into the kitchen and to my surprise it was Justin. He was cooking something and it smelled delicious. "What are you making?" I asked while walking up to him and pecking a kiss on his cheek. He turned to me and smiled. Oh how I love his smile. "I thought I would make you some food. Your probably starving." I looked over his shoulder and saw that he was making me some eggs and bacon. He looked over at me again and said "don't worry I'll clean everything up." I love how sweet he is. "I wasn't worried." I replied then I walked out.

Ten minutes later he came into my room with a tray full of food. I smiled at him "you treat me so well" I teased. He laughed then set it down on my bed. "I already cleaned up but I have to go now" he leaned down and pecked a kiss on my cheek. "I love you." I said to him as he closed my bedroom door. I grabbed my computer again, turned it on and started watching the next season of vampire diaries while eating the eggs and bacon Justin got me.
