I wake up around 11:30 the next morning. I roll over to see that Isabel is still asleep. After laying in the cozy warmness of my bed for another 10 minutes, I roll out of bed as quietly as possible and head to my bathroom. I decide to take a quick shower. Once I'm finished in there, I head back into my room to find Isabel sitting up in my bed finishing a yawn. She looks over at me, "Mornin'."

"Mornin'. Did you sleep good?"

"Yes, very good. You have a comfy bed."

I let out a light laugh, "Thanks."

I crawl back into my bed so I can get back under my warm covers. It then occurs to me that Isabel might be hungry; I should probably offer her food.

"Are you hungry? Both my parents are workin' today, so my mom can't make us anything. We have s'mores poptarts though."

"Darn, I was hopin' for some pancakes. Poptarts are good though. So yes, I'm hungry and I would like some poptarts."

I laugh and say, "Well, come on, let's go to the kitchen and get some."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After our glorious and delicious meal of s'mores poptarts, we decided that we should go to the mall. So, now we are in my room getting ready. I have my iPhone plugged into my ihome and Country Girl by Luke Bryan is blaring through the speaker. I have it turned up really loud so we can jam out as we get ready. As soon as the first round of the chorus starts, Isabel busts open my bathroom door, gripping her hair brush in her right hand and scream-singing into it:
"SHAKE IT FOR THE YOUNG BUCKS SITTIN' AT THE HONKY TONKS, FOR THE REDNECKS ROCKIN' TILL THE BREAK OF DAWN, FOR THE DJ SPINNIN' THAT COUNTRY SONG!"
As she does this, she dances around my room with very dramatic butt wiggles. I bust out laughing before running into my bathroom to grab my own hairbrush. I run out, hairbrush in hand, and join her in her ridiculous butt shaking and singing.
"COUNTRY GIRL SHAKE IT FOR ME GIRL, SHAKE IT FOR ME GIRL, SHAKE IT FOR ME!"
We sing and dance together for the rest of the song and then collapse onto the floor laughing. We get along so well and have so much fun together. I love all the crazy moments we've had in the short time we've been friends. I love her craziness. I can already tell that our friendship will be full of moments like these. I smile at that last thought. We pull ourselves off my floor and then continue to get ready. I've paired my dark wash shorts with an orange Simply Southern gator T-shirt.
Once Isabel is truly done with the bathroom, I go in to brush my hair and my teeth. I emerge out of the bathroom to find Isabel pulling on some black converse. She' wearing light wash shorts with a red Hank Williams Jr. concert tank top. She seriously has the coolest shirts; I need to ask her where she gets them sometime. I go to my closet and slip on some blue flip flops. I turn around to look at Isabel, "You ready?"
She slips on the second shoe, stands up, and says, "Yup, let's go."
I grab my keys, phone, and wallet before walking out of my room. Isabel did the same. We go get in my truck and as soon as its cranked up, I turn on the radio. I don't particularly like what comes on, but its doable. The song is Buy Me a Boat, by Chris Janson. I back out of the driveway and head towards the mall; which is about 20 minutes down the road
When we are almost at the mall, my jam comes on: Crash and Burn by Thomas Rhett. I look at Isabel and say, "It is fixin' to get real loud in here. This is my song."
She looks back at me and says, "Blow out my eardrums. This is my song too."
I smile and crank the volume up to levels that probably aren't safe. However, if I were to go deaf, I would proudly say that I lost my hearing to a Thomas Rhett song. Driving down the road, we are full on jamming out to his gorgeous, husky, southern voice. Safely, of course, since I am driving. I know my limits. Isabel, however, doesn't have to worry about being safe, so she is drumming along on my dashboard and singing her heart out in the passenger seat. I join her in her singing at the chorus.
"DO YOU HEAR THAT? I'M RIGHT BACK, AT THE SOUND OF LONELY CALLING. DO YOU HEAR THAT? IT'S WHERE I'M AT,
IT'S THE SOUND OF TEARDROPS FALLING DOOOOOOWWWN, DOOOOOOWWWWN, A SLAMMING DOOR AND A LESSON LEARNED,
I LET ANOTHER LOVER CRASH AND BURN"
We are fully jamming out until the song is completely over. Just as it ends we pull into the parking lot of the mall. Perfect timing, if I do say so myself. I turn the radio back down to normal levels and shut the truck off. We hop out and head into the mall together.
