"There's blue and red flashing lights. Handcuffs on wrists. People all around me are screaming; running in all directions, trying to escape. I stand there frozen, a single tear rolls down my face. She slapped me. She told everyone I did it."
Trystan...
He takes my hand in his and leads me to the side of the patio where there's some stairs. I guess we are going around the restaurant to his truck. Instead of doing that though he pulls me down to the river bank and onto a little path that goes through the trees. I really hope we don't run into any spiderwebs.
"Erik where are we goin'?"
He's not the psycho murdering type, right?
"A surprise," he says with a mischievous grin.
"You're full of surprises tonight ain't ya?", I tease. He really is though. First the restaurant, then the necklace, next his good singing, and now some secret location.
"Good surprises though, right?"
I give him a smile, "Yes, very good surprises."
He smiles back at me, his eyes lighting up with happiness.
"Well, we're here."
I look away from him to see we've stopped in front of a little dock with a red bass boat.
"Are we goin' on a boat ride?", I ask confused.
He grins, "Yes, but not just any boat ride. A romantic boat ride."
I raise my eyebrows at him. "Oh yeah, and what makes it romantic?"
"You'll see," he says as he pulls me onto the dock.
"There you go again with the surprises," I say jokingly.
"What can I say? I just really like surprises."
I roll my eyes and smirk. "Obviously."
"You know you love them. Now come on get in."
I do as he says and carefully climb in so that I don't flash him or anyone that could possibly pass by on a boat. He gets in after me, going over to the drivers seat and sitting down. I sit in the passenger seat. It's a pretty nice boat with four seats; the two we're sitting in and two removable ones in the front and back.

Erik cranks the boat and slowly cruises down the river a ways before turning it off. He lets the current take us then and we just drift. It's a beautiful evening and just the right temperature to be out. I love the river, it's my favorite place to be. I would love to live on the river so that I could swim and fish every day.
"This is beautiful, thank you for taking me," I say breaking the peaceful silence.
"You're welcome."
I look away from the river bank and look over at Erik to see he's watching me with a smile.
