Trystan's POV

"I cannot believe that just happened."

Erik, yes the Erik Carson just ran into me. Literally. I am wearing his freakin' hoodie. Erik's hoodie! I'm screaming with joy inside. It smells amazing, absolutely amazing. He smells like fresh spring air with a musty pine after smell. It's a truly intoxicating smell; I honestly don't want to give it back.

"I was laughin' so hard, the look on your face before you saw Erik was priceless. You looked like you were gonna murder him."

"Honestly, if it wasn't Erik I probably would've murdered the person." I take my pizza seriously.

"So spill, what all did he say to you?"

"Well, he said he was really sorry and then he offered to buy me a new shirt, his hoodie, and to buy me new pizza all in one sentence. I refused the shirt offer so he insisted I take his hoodie. I couldn't make myself say no, even though I knew I had two shirts I could change into. I let him buy me pizza and I couldn't help but say two slices. Even though it was Erik, I was still kinda mad my pizza was ruined and I just had to make him buy me an extra slice. It was hidden payback."

Isabel almost chokes on her sub after I finish my story. She's laughing really hard.

"Only you would call something 'hidden payback'. I think he likes you."
Now it's my turn to choke on my food. Once I recover I say, "No he doesn't. He was just being nice. He can't like me, there's no way."

She shakes her head at me, "Oh he so does, he was rambling. Also, I saw the way he was lookin' at you. He also mentioned that he sees us walkin' around campus. He described me as: 'the girl I see walkin' around with Trystan'. Oh, let's not forget he voluntarily bought you a cookie. He definitely likes you Trys, and now you can use his hoodie to your advantage."

I think about what she just said as I finish my pizza and unwrap my cookie. Maybe she's right; Erik does like me. I mean, he did seem kinda nervous and then gave me, a girl he barely knows, his hoodie. Holy crap. What if he really does like me? What do I do? How will this event effect our relationship at school? Isabel's right. I need to use his hoodie to my advantage and create at least a friendly relationship.

"You're right, this hoodie is a perfect opportunity. Do I really have to give it back though? It smells freakin' amazing. I wanna keep it."

She laughs and shakes her head. "I'm sure it does, but just think if you use it correctly you could steal all his hoodies and constantly have one that smells like him."

She's right. That would be amazing to always smell his smell. I nod in understanding.

"Fine. I will give it back for that, and that reason only."

We finish our lunch with random talk and then head to my truck, all our shopping bags in hand. On the way back to my house we sing all the songs that play on the radio.

I walk into my room and drop all my bags on the floor. Isabel does the same. We both change into comfy clothes; me in my camo pajama pants and Erik's hoodie and Isabel into black sweats and a blue gator T-shirt that has the sleeves ripped off. On the ride home we had decided that we wanted to go play Xbox, so we head into my game room and pick COD2. Of course, we are fixing to kick some zombie butt.

"Pause the game!", Isabel yells as her phone rings. As soon as its paused she grabs her phone and answers.

"Hey, mom." She pauses and listens to whatever her mom is saying. "Ok, yes ma'am. I'll be ready." She listens again before saying, "Yes ma'am, bye love you too."

She turns to me and says, "My mom wants me to come home now, so she's comin' to get me. She'll be here in 15 minutes."

"Awww ok. You should probably go pack then; I'll turn off the Xbox."

She nods and sets down her controller before heading back to my room. I turn of everything and meet her in there. While she finishes packing her bag, I go and grab her shopping bags off the floor for her. She stands up, bag on her shoulder when she's done, and takes them from me.

"Thanks. I had a great time this weekend. You'll have to come over to my house soon."

I smile, "Yes, definitely. I had a great time too."

Her phone goes off indicating she got a text; Isabel looks down at her screen, "My mom's here so I gotta go. Bye Trys! See you Monday. Text me!"

I hug her as I say, "Bye Iz, see you then! I will!"

With that she heads out the door. I relax the rest of the day in my room and text her.
