Chapter 32

I just stared at him. His dark green eyes staring back at me with his light brown hair falling slightly over his eyes. I opened my mouth but nothing came out. I just stared at him. How is he here? Whats going on...

He came closer to me, "Selena are you ok?"

I backed up against the door looking up at him into those beatiful green eyes.

"What...what are you doing here?" i whispered, "After you left me and broke my heart, you think you could just come back?" I asked completely lost. I feel like I've been saying this a lot lately.

He rapped his arms around me hugging me tightly ignoring everything i just said. I felt his breath on my neck and he whispered, "Thank god your ok..."

I just stood there. I didnt know what to do. I couldnt move away from him. I was against the door. But there was somthing different about him...his touch...it was cold...

Then he pulled away from me and turned from me not looking at me.

Then he turned to face me again with a hurt expression, "I dont expect you to forgive me...but please just listen to what I have to say..."

I didnt respond at first, but then I saw the hurt on his face. "Ok, I'll listen."

We went in the living room and sat down on the couch. He leaned forward with his elbows on his knees and looked at me.

"When we got into those fights and stuff... About how I was ignoring you, staying away from you, keeping somthing from you...which I was...and now I'm going to tell you..."

I just looked at him.

He continued, "I'm a vampire..."

I stared at him shocked.

"I couldnt control my thirst around humans, that why I stayed away from you for a little while, I didnt want to hurt you like...like I hurt my brother." he said guiltily.

I felt so bad for him. I had no idea. I wasnt that good with magic then that I couldnt tell who was a vampire or not, so I had no idea.

"I killed my brother...thats when I realized I completely needed to stay away from everyone, especially you, but then you started getting suspicious and I couldnt tell you. I... didnt know you knew about this stuff and I didnt know what your reaction would be... So when you broke up with me.. . I was completely torn but I was happy, because now that gave me time to learn to control myself. And I would never want to hurt you like I hurt my brother." He said and I saw tears in his eyes.

I rapped my arms around his neck and he rapped his around my waist burrying his face in my hair. I felt chills from his breath on my neck. I hugged him tighter and whispered, "Its ok..."

He hugged me tighter and I think he was crying. I pulled away from him taking his face in my hands. He smiled as I wipped his tears with my thumbs. I smiled looking at his eyes. I missed him...

"How did you find me?" I whispered, "How did you even get in here?" I asked laughing still holding his face in my hands.

He laughed, "The vampire who tirned me found me two days ago saying you were in trouble and how you were a witch and stuff. He gave me this ring so I could walk in the sunlight and told me you were in Mystic Falls. So last night I came to your house as a pizza guy and your brother invited me in. But you werent there. So I hid in your room...until now, when I saw you come in here crying."

I smiled and he pulled me closer to him, "Who was the vampire who turned you and told you I was here?"

He thought for a minute, "Klaus I think?"

I stared at him. Klaus turned him?

"Oh my god..." I whispered. He made a face and I continued, "Mike you need to promise me you'll stay away from him, he's a bad person."

"Why what did he do?"

I took a deep breath, "He killed my parents...and now hes trying to hurt me..."

"Selena I'm so sorry.." he whispered.

I moved my hair showing him my kneck, "He gave me this that night...almost killed me."

He looked and then moved my hair back in place. "I wont let anyone hurt you Selena, you'll be ok. I promise I wont leave you again."

I looked up at him and he leaned down pressing his lips against mine. I automatically felt butterflies. He was still the same Mike.

I kissed him back rapping my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me. I missed him. He had his arms around my waist and pulled me against him till there was no space between us. He kissed me passionately.

I pushed him away coming back to reality and pulled out of his arms. I buried my face in my hands and sighed.

I looked up at him and he looked confused.

"I met somone else..." I whispered to him.

He nodded understandingly but looked disappointed.

"Well I kinda did...I dont know... I'm really confused..." I said the ending to myself.

He got up and I looked up at him.

"Maybe I should go, come back tomorrow." he said as he walked to the door.

"Ughh Mike wait," I said as I went after him.

He turned to look at me.

"I'm sorry, its just you left...we broke up, and...i thought we were over..."

"I dont blame you for meeting someone else, I was just suprised I guess," he said honestly, "But...just so you know..." he touched my cheeck with his hand, "I never stopped loving you."

Then he walked out the door and was gone.

I stood there...completely confused.

My phone rang and I angrily took it out of my pocket.

It was Damon calling.

I threw the phone on the couch and went in the kitchen.

I grabbed the house phone and dialed Chrissys cell.

She didnt answer, but her message machine came on.

"Hey Chrissy...I know your away and stuff but...I would really appreciate if you could call me or somthing...I really need someone to talk to and I miss you...and...I dont know what to do. please call me back..." I hung up and leaned my elbows on the counter with my face in my hands.

My cell phone kept ringing. I picked it up off the couch and saw that Damon kept calling me. I didnt want to answer, but then I realized if I didnt, I would be doing the same thing to Damon that Chrissys doing to me...

I picked the phone up and answered, "Hey."

"Hey Selena, look I really need to talk to you. About what happened before, I didnt mean to make it look like I expected you to take me back cause I dont, I-"

"Its ok Damon," I said cutting him off, "Its ok."

There was silence for a minute and then he spoke again, "I just want to make sure your ok."

I froze for a minute thinking about telling him about Mike. But why does he need to know? It was technically none of his business.

"Yea I'm ok."

"Ok...I guess I'll talk to you tomorrow?" he said.

I guess he didnt know what to say. I didnt even know how to respond.

"Ok."

But there really was nothing to even say...

I am honestly so sorry. I told u all a while ago i was going to update and then never did....I'M SORRY!! :'( please dont hate ..

But i have to say that i have a lot of finals and regents next week so i won't be updating again till summer probably.
