Chapter 11

Chap 11

***Selenas POV***

     Once we were out if the woods we stopped running and started panting.  We were out of site from them.  I had no idea what was going on or what I was doing.  All I knew was one, I'm helping Katherine, two I was getting myself into trouble, and three....never mind there is no three.

     "Wow!" he said smiling at me looking relieved, "Thanks a ton!  I'm Alaric Saltzman." he held out his hand to me and I shook it.

     "No problem.  I'm Selena Russo." I said as I started to get my breathe back.  That was a lot of running and I felt so worn out.

     We started laughing at how heavy we were both breathing.  Then from some strange reason I felt like I was going to pass out.  I felt light headed.  But it wasnt because of the running, it was somthing else.  He noticed it too.  But why was I feeling this way?

     I felt my eyes close and i opened thrm quickly and leaned back almost falling.  He quickly put his hand on my back to prevent me from falling.  He looked really worried and asked me, "Are you ok?" even though he knew that I wasn't.

     I didn't answer, I couldn't answer.  Why was I feeling this way?  I didn't use that much magic.  It takes a whole lot, and I mean a lot, of magic for me to pass out.  I tried to think of things i did that could have caused this.  But nothing came to me.  Then I quickly realized it.  I looked at my cut on my arm.  It was bleeding, a lot.  It was really deep, it went from my wrist to my elbow.  I examined it and then my arm began to burn.  I winced in pain closing my eyes. 

     Alaric shook me a little probably thinking I passed out, "Hey!  You ok?"

     Then I realized that witch put roskshme in me.  My whole body was starting to burn and the cut was really really deep.  But how? How did they know who I was?  How did they have the roskshme at the time?  They cant carry it with them everywhere they go.  I'm the only one left besides my brother who is affected by it.  And how did they see us running?  Alaric saw my cut but didn't think it was a big deal.  I opened my eyes and looked at Alaric shaking my head to answer his question.

     I felt my legs shaking and i quickly fell to the floor on my knees and clenched my head.  He knelt down beside me.  Probably not knowing what to do.  I began to scream really loud.  I felt heavy tears fall down my face.  My whole body felt like it was on fire, burning.  He remained calm though.

     Alaric took out my phone from my pocket and dialed a number.  Who was he calling?  I couldn't even speak to ask him.  I just sat there useless holding my head with my eyes closed and occasionally screaming and crying.  I felt like a complete baby but it was really bad.  It was spreading through my whole body.

    "Hey." he spoke into the phone still beside me, "Yea its me, alright listen.  Come to the woods as fast as you can.  Ok?  I need you. Yea come by the bench outside of the woods, not inside though.  Okay, hurry up!" he shut the phone and placed it in my bag.

     He rubbed my back.  "Your gonna be ok." I nodded closing my eyes.  Then i thought wow, he was pretty calm.  I mean hes pretty brave to just meet a girl and all of a sudden she falls to the floor and starts screaming like a maniac.

     "Look you need to try to stop screaming.  They are gonna hear us." he whispered to me looking around.  He was right.  I stopped screaming but instead started crying even more.  It hurt so much.

     Why wasnt I fainting though?  Usually by now i would've fainted.  But I wasn't.  I slowly opened my eyes and blinked a few times to gain my vision.  I looked at all the blood coming out of my cut.  I closed my eyes tight again and tried to do a spell to make the roskshme flow out of the cut with the blood.  I mean if it came in that way it could go out that way too.  I winced in pain, it was really hard to do spells with roskshme in you.  But surprisingly it was working.
