LEENA'S POV

My big sister Xenia has found a mate is so happy, I've never seen her this happy before, she normally flits from guy to guy wishing for a relationship with someone, but often found d sadness and disappointment in her life.
All those almost lover relationships took a toll on her love and relationships. I just hope Joshua doesn't hurt her, otherwise pixies will attack him because I will not have my sister hurt again.
Speaking about boys, there is a cute one, I spot him walking in to class as I'm sitting cross legged on my friend's desk waiting for class to commence, wow he is hot.
"Who is he?" I ask Sarah hinting at him, without being so obvious that he notices I'm talking about him except I so hope he does.
"He is new, his name is Sean, often comes with that guy that your sister is together with. I guess they come from the same neighbourhood," she finishes now staring at him with eyes of lust.
"Thanks," I respond heading towards him slowly. I walk past him playing with my hair as I look him up and down biting my lower lip, totally getting his attention. I take my seat and continue playing with my hair as though it's something I normally do. He just glares at me with a desire of wanting to know me. Now I have his attention
"Morning class, please take your seats and let's begin. Turn to page ... " the lecturer that is unfamiliar to me drowns off in the distance, totally saved me from having to continue with my hair playing antics.

"Hi, I'm Sean"he introduces himself to me, "I haven't seen you around, are you new around here?"
"Nope, but I'm leaving now, nice to meet you Sean" I comment flicking my hair his way as I head out the door to Xenia and the bus.
"Hey, I never caught your name," he shouts after me running.
"It's Leena," I respond and hop on the bus as it is about to pull off. Yes, I left him in the parking lot like a sore puppy wanting to get to know me, sadly he'll have to wait for that, I smile to myself all the way home from school, knowing I have a boy hooked simply on a greeting and a pass by.

"So who was that in the parking lot that you shared your name with?" Xenia asks as we enter the house, to a happy Sasha dog racing to a screeching halt at our feet.
"Hey, Sasha," I respond to her happy tail wagging and little yelps of wanting to play outside.
"His name is Sean, comes to school with Joshua, but I only met him today. Clearly he is obsessed with me," I reply with a happy sigh picturing his face in my mind.
"You are not to date a wolf sis, you know where that will lead," she responds with concern in her voice and on her face.
"Yeah I know," I reply with sadness in my voice, "the loss of my wings and the ability to walk and fly outside, and the opportunity to play with you and Sasha," a small tear falls down my cheek, confused at the emotions running around inside me.

I wish I could be a wolf but the consequences of a failed magic to repair me as a pup and baby is concerning to me, especially with the amount of energy used just to have me walk and fly. I wonder if I'll ever have the chance for a fluffy tail of my own to curl up with at night. Maybe I don't have to mate with Sean and just be married to him like Mom and Dad. But look what happened to me, a half breed that failed. I can't have that happen to our children particularly with being formed into a pixie princess.
"Leena, are you okay?" Xenia asks with a questioning loom at me.
"Yeah, why?" Suddenly I realise I'm on the floor lying flat on my back, "Ow, my head, what happened sis?" I ask now worried about what happened to me,
"You just passes out and collapsed" she says with serious concern on her face
"I was thinking and then... I don't know I guess I'm just tired. Can you help me to my room?" I ask now fatigued and sore from the fall.
"Sure but you need to be checked out and monitored," she comments helping me up the stairs and into bed. "Pixies, we need your help please," she says aloud, knowing Mom and Dad aren't home and won't be for the next few hours.
They arrive in a blink and gather around me.
One speaks rather happily, " she'll be fine, we have her, let her rest now."
Poor Xenia, now she has a relaxed look on her face.
"I'll be back soon to check on you," says before heading into her room to do homework from today's classes.
I decide to share the story and dream with the pixies and they stare at me with a look of awe and excitement.
"The blue moon is fast approaching and that will allow the change you are looking for," the same pixie spoke with a love in her voice as she flaps above me, hovering with small flecks of dust falling from each of her flaps.
"What do I need to do?" I remark quickly with excited tones in my voice sitting up as a response to that awesome news.
"Rest as much as possible and eat food, a lot of food, you'll need your strength for the transformation."

Wow my chance to become a wolf and have a fluffy tail of my own to curl up with at night. Yay.
