We trained day and night in order to grow stronger to take on an Alpha female that wanted us, and wanted us dead if she couldn't have us. This time round we won't take that. This time round we will fight for what is ours and that is our lives.

We transformed to wolf and back to human, each time the pain becoming less, and our ability to transform faster.

We studied the moves of other wolves from a great distance, keeping our scent hidden, and constantly changing the area we watch from and the way home. The wolves dance in combat the way they attack and train and play. We have a skill they don't have, we can fly, and we have pixie magic running through our veins. All I hope is that it is enough to challenge the alpha female.

We chase rabbits and deer for the lesson of the run and chase. We stalk birds for surprise, learning all we can. Then after the day is over, we train our minds and learn magic from pixies.

Days have gone by since my wolf told me of the tragedy, and we haven't spoken of it since, but let the anger of it flow through our veins giving us the drive and determination of the fight.

The number of pixies have grown since I first spotted them and became their princess. Xenia constantly draws the new ones and learns about them in detail. I study the drawings and remember who they are. We have been having a lot of fun as siblings learning about the pixies, but I don't want her to know about me being a wolf, not just yet.

It is time for us to attack the alpha that tried to kill us. We are strong enough and we cannot waste more time preparing for the fight my wolf tells me.

I agree, but how do we tell those around us that we will be doing this?

We don't tell anyone, we leave tonight after everyone is asleep she continues.

The alarm clock wakes us up, from a dream state of preparations, awakening our senses and sending our minds on a series of moves and techniques that we have learned. A pixie hops onto the bed near me and stares at me with awe and respect.
"And now little one?" I ask peacefully knowing the little one has never seen me before.
"I am scared for you Princess, I feel you may not survive this battle long enough to take your place among the wolves and be powerful enough to overcome your enemy,", he says gingerly, careful to not enrage me, but I cannot get enraged with his sincerity.
" I know you fear for me little one, but nothing will change my mind on this path of attaining the rightful place I am to have in the wolfing community, and in my family",  I end in a bid to silence the words he said that are echoing within us.

We will make it and we will survive, we must show all wolves that we are the powerful one and that our place and birthright was removed, my wolf consoles me to the point of calm and peace that I cannot help but feel that we will make it.

The pixie backs away and bows at hearing her, his face entrenched in fear and hurt for my sake.

Do not be afraid little one, I will not harm you, we are your princess and this is my message to the pixies.

No pixie is to interfere in the fight regardless of whose side they are on. This fight will be to the death and no one is to fear the old master that enslaves pixies for her rituals. We are the strong wolf and we are your royalty. Anyone who comes against us will face the wrath of me.

The pixie backs away and bolts off the bed to deliver the message to all the pixies.
Why did you say that to him? I question her with a voice of sadness towards him.

We need to be careful how we treat those beneath us. I know you are anxious, we both are, but for us it is important for everyone to quickly learn their place around us. We will be the new alpha female.

I hope out of bed and shake the thoughts from my mind while I get dressed for the long run ahead of me. We sneak out into the dark and cool of night, the brisk wind blows in my hair and I take it all in, my wolf whining to come out and run. I give in to her and we bolt for the treeline and the darkness of the trees above us engulf our shadow and we vanish on our journey.
