It is my opinion that there is no such thing as bad poetry. Poetry is most often a way to express the way one is feeling. You can't say that a form of expression is bad or inadequate. When someone writes a poem, they are putting a part of themselves into that poem. And just because YOU don't understand what they are saying or like they way they are saying it, does not mean that it is bad. I'm not going to sit here and say that I enjoy all poetry, because I don't. But I will say that you have no right to bash someone's poem. When you bash someone's poem you are not only speaking badly of the poem, but of the person who wrote it as well.
If for some reason you feel the need to be malicious about my poems or anyone else's for that matter, I ask that you first think twice about it. If your reason for not liking the poem is, because you do not understand it, then perhaps you could ask the writer to explain it rather than being a meany butt about it. If you don't like it, because it's not written in the style that you like, then you don't have to like it, but that doesn't mean it's okay to be rude and incosideret. The person who wrote the poem wrote it for a reason, and there are other people out there who do like that style of poetry, so just refrain from typing whatever unkind comment you wish to express. Go ahead, think it all you want, but is there really a need to type it?
