I get out of bed not being able to sleep all last night. Even though I think I could have a chance at winning I'm still dreading going in. I get out of bed and shower wanting to be as clean as possable as im not going to be able to shower for a while. I get changed into the clothes I wore yesterday knowing that I wont have to wear them for long. "Finnick im coming in." Mags says "Good luck do you want me to ask Eunia take you badge through so you can wear it in the arena?" I nod so Mags takes the the badge and puts it in her pocket. "Ohh and I know you will probabley want to wish Lala good look but you cant see each other sorry." Mags says as she leaves the room damm thats just about what I was going to do.
Just then a Capitol attendent comes im and says that I have to go to the roof. When I arrive I'm grab onto a ladder and rise into the hovercraft. At the top still freezed to the ladder im am injected with a tracking device. I am then seated and served some lunch. Im not hungry so I simply drink water because the boy from district 8 last year died of dehdration and it was only 4 days into the games. Its feels like we are traveling for hours before im am told to get off. I am lead by peace keepers straight into the the launch room (however the people from the districts call it a stock yard) After sitting there for a while on my own Eunia comes in even though I cant forgive her for what I wore in the chariots I hug her as I know she will be the last person I see that doesnt want me dead. "Heres your costume." She says handing me a plain black tee-shirt a black jacket with my district number on some camoflage trousers and some soft leather boots perfect for running. "Do you want anything?" Eunia asks after a while however I shake my head and containue to look into space. "Right its time to go onto your launch pad." Eunia says so I hug her and climb inside as soon as I'm in glass walls surround me.
As I'm lifted up I see a huge landscape before my eyes a huge pine wood forest and a waterfall on one side of the cornucopia and on the other side a field full of grass that was about as high as my head and a different forest made up of all kind of trees. I look to my left and see Maple she see me and gives my a small smile. on my right the boy from district 3 Cable. Mean while the time is counting down 60 59 58. Looking over at the cornucopia I see a hand full of spears leaning against one of the walls inside it closer to me I see a small knife. 31 30 29. I then look for Lala who is 6 people away from me who is looking at a deadly collection of knifes next to the spears I am going for. 10 9 8 Finally I ready myself to set of the platform as soon as the cannon sounds. 3 2 1. As the cannon sound I hear Claudius Templesmiths voice echo through the Arena "Let the 65th hunger games begin!" As I jump down from my platform and head for the Cornucopia.
