Hi im Casey Ellen Im 13 and live in the poor part of district four.I have typical blonde hair but unlike most people in our district I have brown eyes. Me being an only child means my mum and my dad signed me up for training to become a career when I was 7. My dad is a fisher man and mum makes fishing nets pretty obvious jobs for a fishing district. My best friends are Jade and Amber , Jade had to sign up for training on the same day as me as she is an only child but Amber having 2 brothers ( Dylan and Gale ) Was lucky she wont ever have to train to go in the hunger games.
I set of on my slow journey to training its every day apart from sunday yep no school for me. As I walk past the huge sea green lake about the size of a football field I hear footsteps coming my way I turn around and i see Jade jogging towards me. "I called for you but your mum said you have all ready gone." said Jade catching her breath as she walked beside me. "Sorry about that its just its our final training lesson untill we have our test i wanted to get some practise." As we turned the corner the huge training centre came into view (although training not allow by hunger games rule district 1,2 and 4 still find the need to do it) We sign our name in at the desk and make our way up the the main hall where positioned all along the walls are spears tridents bow and arrows swords knifes and axes in all different shape and sizes. However just before I can Pick up a good sized spear I here my name being called out . "Casey!" I quickly turn around seeing that the voice belonged to Finnick Odair. "What do you want." I ask as he comes to a halt beside me and Jade. " I wanted to wish you good look." He winked as he walked away his golden hair shined in the sun light. "What is his problem." I said to Jade as he walked away. " Maybe he likes you." Said Jade as she took a dagger of the wall "No way not Finnick Odair anyway I think Kirk likes you." I said as I took a spear from the wall and began practising
