"What do you want." Casey asks me as I stop next to her. "I wanted to wish you go luck." I said .as I wink I walked away suppressing a smirk. as I make my way over to Kirk Jamie and Luke. Jamie throws me a trident and we begin practising fighting on the dummies that have been placed to train with. After about an hour everyone gathers round as our coaches Mags and Ronan (victors of the hunger games) start talking to us about the test "The tests are very important as the will determine when you will go in the hunger games." Mags said as Jade notices that im edging closer towards them. "How are you both?" I say as I reach them. "You should be listening or you wont know what to do in the test." Whispered Jade while Casey continued to ignore me listening to every word of Mags speech as if her life depended on it, well I suppose it did. However just before I can carry on talking to Jade I hear my name being called "Finnick Odair." Said Rowan "Yes sir." I said as I made my way up to the small platform on which Mags and Rowan where speaking. "Finnick your test time is 12:00 so DONT BE LATE!" Said Rowan as he handed me a small crumpled piece of paper saying my name and time on it. "I wont be sir." I mutter sarcasticly Im always late and he cant stop me being late even if he has won the hunger games!

"Jade Hadley please come up to the stage." I hear shortly after Finnick is called up I am given the piece of paper without a word they know that unlike Finnick I will come on time. We are not allowed back in with the others once we have gotten our time so I slowly make my way in tho the large libary that is next to the training hall in which I have just been in. It however is unlike any normal libary anybody that isnt training will have ever seen. Large posters showing different hand to hand combat moves are plastered all over the walls and the books are full of tips on how to fight. Although the is millions of books in the room non of them are about how to catch food are what foods you cant eat I guess they think that careers will just steal from others and get all the food for at the start of the games.

My name was called out last being that my family where one of the poorest in the district I am give my time which is 6:00pm, great this will mean ill have to miss dinner again . I make my way over to the libary because I know that where Jade will be waiting for me. She was reading up on how the use the bow and arrow because thats what she wasnt as good at being that using the dagger is her thing and spear throwing mine (you get quite good at it when you help you dad catch fish when ever your not training you know) But just before I can enter the library I see Finnick with a look on him face that tells me he knows something I don't.
