I was in my room when there was a knock at my door and a little face peered round. "Hello Ellie, come in!" I lifted her up onto my bed and sat down beside her. "Lisa says that you need to talk to that boy who's outside!" "What, there's a boy outside?" She nodded. "What does he look like?" Ellie put her finger on her chin, thinking really hard. "Very tall!" Not helpful at all. I ruffled her hair before heading downstairs to the door. I opened it and saw Jason. "Why do you always greet me with such disgust?" He moved closer, putting his hands on my waist. I stepped out, closing the door behind me. "What is it Jason?" I asked, moving his hands away. "I've missed you..." "Yeah right... No foolish girl to play with?" "I'm not like that.." I sighed. "Been spending a lot of time with that Luke kid recently." "Yeah and?" He shrugged his shoulders. "Nothing, I've just known him for a few years" "So?" " I just know things that you don't" I narrowed my eyesd at him, trying to figure out what he meant. He smiled the dirtiest smile I had ever seen. "Wha-" I was cut off by his lips pressing against mine. I pushed him away, he laughed as he skipped down the steps. "See you later babe" I shook my head as I went back inside, I hoped that it was Luke. I was greeted by 3 little girls dressed in princess outfits. "Was that prince charming?" Zoe asked. "No, prince charming is much better." I ended up having Zoe, Megan and Annabelle in their sleeping bags on my bedroom floor as I told them stories about Prince Charming. "Codie, can I talk to you?" I heard Lisa call from outside. "I'll be right back!" "But why doesn't Prince Charming ever visit?" I heard Zoe cry as I left the room. "Codie, I'm going to need you to do some of the school drop offs tomorrow as I'll be in a meeting and Tom will be doing the nursery and play group drop offs" I nodded and turned back to go in my room. "Oh and Codie" I looked back. "You've got 3 months..." I looked down and walked into my room. Zoe, Megan and Annabelle were fast asleep. I climbed into bed and muttered the answer to Zoe's question, "Because he would never date a princess from a children's home", before turning the light off.
