Luke poured a jug of water over my head as I looked up at the ceiling. I reminded him that I had broken my foot, not my arm, but he still insisted on washing my hair for me. After pouring the jug of water, he rolled his sleeves and dipped the sponge in water before gently placing it on my back. "You're only doing this because you can't sleep with me!" The sound of his nervous laugh made me smile. "What?"
"You said you wouldn't sleep with me until I was fully recovered and it's only a few weeks until I am. So in the mean time you're just finding other ways to satisfy yourself." We both burst out laughing, suddenly stopping as we looked each other. Luke slowly leaned closer, pressing his lips against mine. I felt his hand caress down my back as I tugged gently on his hair. I moved away and smiled as I removed the little blob of bubbles from his hair. "Hurry up and recover!" Luke said before leaving a peck on my head. He stood up from his knees, "I'm going to get your towel and crutches..." "Ok, can you pass me my phone too please?" He wandered over to the counter by the sink and passed me my phone. He lent down and left one last passionate kiss on my lips. "I love you." "I love you too." I replied before he left the room. I had a text from Maddie. I had been talking to her every now and again. She wanted me to call her and that it was urgent. "Hello... Where did you read that?...But...Ok, I'll get dressed and meet you outside in about 15 minutes?" Seconds later Luke appeared with my crutches and towel. "Ready?" He helped me out of the bath and helped me get dry with the towel.
Once I was dressed, with my crutches, I slowly made my way downstairs. "Where you going?" Luke asked as I made the last step. "Maddie wants to see me, I'll only be a minute!"  Before he could respond I closed the front door and saw Maddie at the end of the path. "Tell me everything" I muttered. She dropped her head, regretting mentioning it at all. "Tell me!" I shouted, my voice echoing down the street.
