•Two days later•
"Well I didn't think that's how my parents were going to act" Y/n mumbled laying her head on Lauren's lap

Lauren frown smoothing Y/n's hair out her face, the couple had just finished getting a few of Y/n stuff into Lauren's house to there surprised Y/n's parents were very upset and angry with Y/n that they kicked their own daughter out their house

Y/n sighed putting her hands on her face to contain the tears she felt ready to fall

Lauren felt her chest tighten she never seen Y/n so hurt

"I'm sorry baby" Y/n let a slight sob out Lauren quickly sat Y/n up and pulled her into her arms letting the younger girl cry into her arms

•Flashback•
"I'm nervous" Y/n mumbled tighting her hold on the steering wheel

"If you aren't really ready Y/n we could do this another time" Lauren whispered placing her hand on Y/n's thigh

Y/n let out a breath calming down a little she loosen her hold on the wheel placing her hand onto Lauren's

"No I avoid this for two days I think it's time and plus we have to visit your parents after and than maybe the girls if everything goes alright" Y/n smiled glancing at Lauren for moment before looking back to the rode Lauren nodded to herself smiling giving Y/n's hand a squeeze

Y/n walked in her house first with Lauren behind holding her hand to guide her in the house

Y/n spotted her parents in the living room watching a movie

Y/n never mentioned how serious her parents are about her having a girlfriend, they seem to not care much what the young girl does but when it comes to a girlfriend they both turn total serious Hispanic parents

Y/n looked around and spotted her grandfather she was surprise to see him there

"Hey mami and papi I'm uh home" Lauren noticed how shaky Y/n voice got,

"Oh hi amor your abuelito is here" Y/n mother spoke

"Yeah hi grandpas" Y/n smiled holding onto Lauren's tighter

"Mo-mom dad abuelito I-I bring someone with me" the three older adults turn to the young girl with a serious expression

"And who might that be?" Y/n shift in her footing slightly pulling Lauren into view

The three stayed silent Y/n wrapped her arm around Lauren's waist smoothing her side

"This is Lauren she-she's my girlfriend" Lauren looked away from Y/n to the adults feeling awkward but she smiled

"Hello Y/n's parent and abuelo" Lauren gave a little wave

After a long awkward 20 minutes silence Y/n grandfather walked up to the couple placing his hands on Lauren and Y/n's arms smiling

"It so nice to meet you Lauren" he smiled with his slight Hispanic accent "I knew mi niña was going to find someone who would accept her just the way she is" Y/n smiled but that smile quickly fell when she noticed her parents figured who Lauren is

Lauren smiled letting the older man pull her in a hug

Y/n grandfather gave Y/n a slight smile with sadden eyes he knew what was coming next so he made an excuse to take Lauren to the back patio to talk about Y/n

"Sure if that's okay with Y/n" Lauren smiled giving your hand a squeeze "y-yeah go ahead I'll meet you guys out there"

When the two were out of sight Y/n turned to her parents
