While Sky was busy beating me into a bloody pulp, I had been screaming my ass off and praying that someone would hear. Undoubtedly Kyrielle must have heard me because now was she banging on the front door, almost knocking it off the hinges.
"Jasmine, what's going on? Open the goddamn door!" She was screaming at the top of her lungs and simultaneously banging on the door.
Sky took a break from stomping a mud hole in my ass to answer the door. He snaked his way to the door and crept it open. He stuck his head through the crevice and told her to go home and tried to close the door, but Kyrielle stuck her foot through the crack and said, "Wait, where the fuck is Jasmine at and what's that on your face?" After taking a closer look she shrieked. "Is that blood?"
Sky tried to wipe away the little red dots splattered all over his face, but ended up smearing more on from the blood on his hands.
"She's not feeling well, why don't you just go home and she'll call when she is feeling better, alright?"
I heard heels clacking down the stairs and Sky closed the door and walked back over to me to finish the job.
He stood over me and grabbed my neck, forcing me to look at him. I stared into his eyes and saw nothing but hatred. I couldn't even recognize him anymore.
"I loved you Jasmine. You could've came to me for any fucking thing and you want to give what's mine away to the next mu'fucka?" He expressed while trying to choke the life out of me.
Bam, bam, bam!
We both looked at the door when we heard someone hitting it with what sounded like a brick.
"Who the fuck is it now?" He asked himself as he slowly walked to the door.
"What the fuck you want now Kyrielle?" He barked sticking his head through the crack of the slightly opened door.
"Step the fuck back, now!" Kyrielle hollered as she pointed a pistol at his head.
He moved out the way and she stepped inside. With the gun still aimed in his direction, she made her way toward me.
"Oh my God, Jasmine!" She dropped the gun at her side and fell to her knees and lifted my head up and placed it on her lap. While she stroked my cheek she assured, "I'ma get you some help okay baby? Just stay with me."
"'I-I'm alright Ri." I struggled to say.
"You ain't taking her no fucking where!" Sky hollered and he ran toward us and dove for the gun, but Kyrielle quickly grabbed it and when he landed a few inches from us, she popped him over the head with the butt of the gun. When he tried to get up she struck him again... and again... and again until he stopped moving.
I started crying when I saw Sky's seemingly lifeless body just lying there.
"Can you walk?" Kyrielle posed while she got up and aimed the gun back at Sky.
I ignored her, my eyes still fixed on Sky, my baby.
Kyrielle kicked him to see if he was still alive. When he didn't move I became hysterical. "Oh my God Ri, he's dead!" I screamed, knocking the gun out of her hand.
"Shut the fuck up and come on!" She pulled me to my feet, threw my arm around her shoulder and forced me outside and into her car.
"Do you think he's okay?" I asked her as she started the car.
"Don't fucking worry about that nigga!"
"I'm good Ri, I promise. Just take me back to my house. I just need to see if he's alright."
"Bitch is you stupid? I'm not bringing you back by that crazy motherfucker."
"Kyrielle please, he needs me! He didn't mean to hurt me we just got into an argument. We just need to talk it out," I tried to beg, but my pleas fell on deaf ears.
"Listen to how retarded you sound! That fool was about to kill your ass and you want to go back and try to have a conversation with him? Shit on that, we need to get you looked at," she let me know as she flew pass three red lights.
"No I'll be alright. I just need to lay down," was the last thing I remembered saying before closing my eyes.
