You had arrived at home, still a little upset that it hadn't gone well with Haru. The boys went upstairs and you headed to the kitchen. "(Y/N)? Whatcha doing?" Suki asked, following you. You knew she was going to ask you questions about Haru but you just didn't feel like talking about it right now. "I'm getting some water. What are you doing?" You replied. She sat down at the closest chair to her, and said, "You're upset aren't you?" You gave her a glass of water and then got yourself a glass. You took a seat at the opposite side of the table, and took a sip of water before speaking. "A bit, but that doesn't matter. About Haru, it's hard to explain. It feels like we're trying to force it. Whatever is meant to happen, will happen. So I think you should stop playing Cupid, and I'll try just being normal. Just let everything happen naturally." You said. Your thoughts were all jumbled up. It felt like you were trying too hard to make Haru like you, and it was working like quicksand. The more you tried the worse it got. "Life will flow like running water, and sometimes there will be rapids, other times calm water, and occasionally a waterfall. But no matter what water always flows." Suki said, avoiding your eyes. You recognized those words. It was your fathers favourite thing to say. Without having to think about it,  you got up and hugged your sister. "I know you miss him. But we've got each other, and that's never going to change." You said. Your father's passing had hurt, and of course you all stayed as happy as you could knowing that's what he would want. But sometimes sadness would creep up and it was nearly impossible to overcome. "You're the best sister in the world." She said, a few tears falling down her face. You smiled, and tried to fight back the lump in your throat and the wetness in your eyes. "I think you're the best sister." You said, letting go. "You remind me a lot of him." She said, referring to your father. When you were younger you did hang around you father the most. He would carry you on his shoulders and run around the beach. Both of you loved going to the ocean, and it's where your happiest memories were. "We're his children. You remind me of him too." You replied. "Of course we all have some of him in us but you're the most. You were always his favourite child." She said, with a hint of jealousy. Although you were his favourite child, no doubt, you knew arguing about it was wrong. "Suki he loved us more than anything. We were his whole world." You said. "I know that! I just wish he were here." She started to sniffle and tear up again. You went and hugged her, not letting go this time. "It's okay. You're okay." You whispered comforting words to her as you held her. You were too busy with Suki to realize someone had come down the stairs. "What's wrong? Are you okay? What happened?" Kiko asked anxiously, rushing over to you and Suki. You smiled at how protective he was, something he inherited from your father. "We're fine, just thinking about Dad." You said letting go of Suki. As soon as Kiko got close enough Suki jumped on him jumped and hugged him too. "I'm happy to have you, you're the best twin ever." She said. Kiko hugged her back, but looked at you with a worried look on his face. "Losing dad is getting to her." You mouthed to him. You could understand why he was worried. It wasn't like Suki at all to be emotional. He nodded and you noticed Suki starting to shake, and heard quiet sobs. Kiko tightened his grip with one arm, and started petting her hair with the other. "Its okay, Satsuki. I'm here, and I'm never going to let anything happen to you." Kiko said. You could feel the love between the two of them. They had always been close, but since the incident they had become nearly inseparable. "I'm not worried about me, I'm worried about you!" Suki said, her crying slowing down. You felt that now was a good time to step in. "I'm here too. I would never let anything harm either of you." Kiko stretched out one arm, inviting you into the hug. You joined in, but only for a moment, as Suki let go. "Thank you. I'm sorry for being such a crybaby. I don't know what happened." She said, wiping away her tears. "Don't apologize, we're here for you." Kiko said. Suki hugged you again. "I love you." She said softly. You smiled and responded, "I love you too." She let go and wiped her eyes again. "Goes without saying, but I love you both." Kiko said. You and Kiko had successfully calmed Suki down. She just needed a little reassurance, and you were always going to be there to help her. You were about to get Suki some tissues but you noticed movement in your peripheral vision. "Haru!" You exclaimed. "Is something going on?" He asked, and entered the kitchen. You knew Suki didn't want anyone to see her like this, so you attempted to get Haru back upstairs. "Haru, I just remembered I needed help with something, will you come upstairs with me?" You panicked and grabbed his hand to pull him upstairs.
