It had been 3 days since you had met Rin. You had connected with him really well. His father had also passed away, due to an accident involving the ocean. Rin wanted to be a swimmer because of his father, and that's why he had gone to Australia to train. He was a very talented swimmer, and you wondered who was the better swimmer, Haru or Rin? You knew Rin felt uncomfortable talking about them so you never asked. You thought about asking Haru, but being friends with Rin felt like a fun little secret you had, so you decided not to. You were walking towards the pool, when your phone ringed. It was your mother. You quickly answered it, worried that something might be wrong. "Hello?" You asked. No answer. "Hello!" You said a little louder. Some people walking in the halls looked at you funny. "Mom, are you there?" You asked. Finally, she responded. "(Y/N)?" She asked, equally as confused as you. "You called me? Is something wrong?" You asked her, as you exited the doors that led out to the pool. "Did I? Oh, I'm sorry, I must have called you by mistake. Well sorry to worry you. Have a good day dear, I love you." She said. You laughed a bit at your mothers carelessness. "I love you too. Bye." You said and hung up. You looked up from your phone and saw the boys looking at you. When you noticed them, they all brought their attention back to each other, except for Haru, who's gaze seemed to linger just a little longer. "Hey everyone. Where's Kou?" You asked, looking around. "We haven't seen her yet." Makoto answered. Kiko isn't here either?" You noticed. You remembered Suki saying that Kiko had a thing for Kou, and a thought crossed your mind. You were going to be furious if he was kissing Kou, making both himself and the manager late, but thought it was fine to yell at you for hanging with Rin. You trusted him, but if it turned out to be selfish like this you would be having an interesting talk with him. "You okay, (Y/N)?" Haru asked. He was probably just worried about you because of what happened a few days ago, but you felt happy that he cared for you. You smiled at him. "I'm okay. Anyway, I guess starting doing laps in the pool, until Kou gets here." You said, trying to be a good assistant manager. They dove into the pool just as your phone binged. You grabbed it, and read Rin's name before your beloved brother appeared in front of you, already in his swimsuit. "Tsukiko, you better have a good explanation on where the hell you were." You said, trying to remain calm. He looked confused. "I forgot my stuff in my locker so I went back to get it. What's the big deal?" He asked. You knew he would never lie to you, so you accepted his answer. "Sorry, I was worried you were doing something else." You apologized, a bit embarrassed. It wasn't exactly like Kiko to go around kissing girls, especially when he had something to do. You could almost guarantee he had never kissed anyone in his life.  Maybe you were starting to become protective over him as well. "(Y/N)," he had a disgusted look on his face. "Did you think I was doing drugs?" He asked. You rolled your eyes. "You're the last person I would think of to do drugs." You said. "Good. Where's Kou?" He asked, looking around. Suki was right, he did have a thing for Kou. "I'm here!" Kou said, walking towards us. You noticed Kiko smile out of the corner of your eye. You wondered if Haru smiled when he saw you, but realized it was always you smiling when you saw him. "I have a small announcement to make everyone." She said to the team. All of them but Haru got out of the pool and gathered around Kou. "We have another joint practice at Samezuka academy, in two days at 3:30. Don't embarrass yourself like last time Rei." She said. They all started laughing, except for Kiko who didn't get the joke. You didn't get it either, but you didn't even notice. What you did notice was Samezuka academy. That meant you would be seeing Rin. Guess he wasn't going to be a little secret for long.
