You slowly walked through the hallways towards the pool. You just walked Suki to the gym for basketball practice and now you were headed to the swim meet. Being assistant manager was incredibly easy and fun. You didn't really have to do anything except hang out with Kou and do a few odd jobs now and then. You were also getting closer to the guys on the team. Makoto was sweet and gentle, like a friendly giant. Rei was fairly calm and obsessed with beauty and seemed to be close friends with Nagisa, who was always very happy and cheerful. They were a delightful group of people and you were glad you got to be friends with them. Having a group of friends was very enjoyable, and you were thankful that Kiko had joined the swim team. It also gave you a reason to be around Haru. Although he spoke to you very little your feelings for him were growing. Another thing you liked about being assistant manager was the calmness you felt. You never felt anxious or afraid when you were with them. You were lost in your thoughts and feelings and accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh sorry!" You said, startled. It was a young and beautiful teacher. She has shoulder length brown hair that matched her pretty brown eyes. She could easily be a model. "No worries, it was my fault. I'm on my way to a club activities so I must be going now." She said and continued walking. You also kept walking, and thought about how much better you were enjoying life. Friends, a hobby, a possible boyfriend. You were happy. You touched the pendant your father gave you before passing, almost as if you were trying to tell him. You reached the doors that lead outside to the pool. As you exited them a familiar voice caught your attention. "(Y/N)!" You turned around, to see Kiko running towards you. He stopped before you, panting. You waited for him to catch his breath. "Yes?" You asked. "I uh-" he took a moment. "I'm busy after practice, so you'll be waking home alone." He said. "Oh okay, thanks for telling me." You replied. Some time alone was always peaceful. He said something you didn't catch and rushed out the doors. You followed him, but at a much slower pace. He still had to get changed and such. All you had to do was watch. "Hey (Y/N)!" Kou called to you. "Come meet Miss Miho, she's our supervisor." You looked up and saw the teacher you had run into before. She smiled and waved at you. "Hello." She said. You bowed to show your respect to her. "Hello Miss Miho. Sorry for earlier." You said sheepishly. "Don't worry about it." She said smiling. She seemed very nice and calm and gentle. You were glad she was here. "(Y/N) is our assistant manager. Her brother, Kiko, is a part of the swim team." Kou told Miho. They continued talking and you zoned out. After only a minute or two, another familiar voice broke your thoughts. "Hello (Y/N)." Haru had popped his head above the water. You smiled at him. "Hello Haru." You said gleefully. You were always happy to see him. "Are we still walking home together?" He asked. You heart skipped a beat. You didn't realize that without the twins, you would be walking alone with Haru. You chuckled nervously. "Y-yeah. Of course. I'll wait for you after practice." You told him. He nodded and went back into the water. You were absentmindedly smiling to yourself. Now you had something to look forward too.
