*TIME SKIP TO AFTER PRACTICE*
You were anxiously waiting for Haru. He was still in the changing room. You could feel butterflies in your stomach. Although alone time with Haru was exciting it was also frightening. If something awkward happened nobody would be there to help. But if something good happened nobody would be there to ruin it either. You just hoped that everything would go okay. "Hello." A deep voice said. You turned to see Haru approaching you. Naturally you smiled. "Hey Haru. Are you ready to go?" You asked him. He nodded. Together you started walking home. "I can't make this awkward." You thought yourself. "So, Haru, how was your day?"
"Fine, how about you." He replied
"It was good." You said.
He didn't say anything. Awkward. You didn't want to talk again in case it got even worse so you walked together in silence. It went on like that for a couple minutes until Haru spoke. "At least the weather is nice." Although it was something so simple, like commenting on the weather, it made you smile. He made the effort to talk you. "Yeah." You agreed. You continued walking in silence but for some reason it felt almost peaceful. You got to your favourite part of the walk - near the ocean. You loved the way the sun made the waves glimmer, and the sound of the tide rushing in and out. The salty wind blew your hair around. You glanced at Haru, and he was also staring at the ocean. You looked back and saw something that caught your attention. There was someone or something splashing in the water. You slowed down and squinted, trying to see what it was. Then, it looked as if all the water around the splashing got sucked under. As if nothing had happened, nothing had been there. Calm water, normal waves, just the tide coming in and out. Suddenly, it felt like someone was choking you. It felt like your chest and throat were being compressed. You were sputtering, gasping for air. Haru just looked at you with fear across his face. "(Y/N)? (Y/N) are you alright?" He asked worried, even though you clearly were not. You started seeing black spots and everything blurred together. You clawed at your neck, trying to pry of the hands that weren't there. Your body grew weaker and weaker, and was filled with more pain. Your legs gave out beneath you and you collapsed. Your hand caught onto the necklace your father gave you, and as you hit the ground it's stopped. You got on your hands and knees and took deep breathes. You really thought you were going to die. Your breath were shaky, and your heart racing. It was relieving but it still hurt like you were inhaling knives. You began coughing and spat out salty water. "(Y/N)?" Haru asked. Assuming he was asking if you were okay and what happened you answered, "I don't know." Well, walking alone with Haru sure was interesting.(A/N)
