Keys of Disaster

That night I couldn't sleep. I thought about the day's events. I could still feel his warm breath against my skin, the tip of our noses touching. We looked into each other's eyes and he played with my hair. It felt like time had stand still. When we locked lips again, I was the one running my fingers through his hair and he held me by my waist.

There was so much electricity between us and I could feel him smiling through the kisses. I couldn't help but do the same. We kissed for a while and then cuddled afterwards staring at the television with Nickelodeon still on. I made myself comfortable under his arm with my head slightly placed on this chest.

I fell asleep to the thought of that.

Monday, when I came to my locker, I found a note inside. While reading it, I felt someone hugging me around the waist from behind. Johnnie was holding me and presented me with a bouquet of handpicked flowers. It was so cute. I gave him a peck on the cheek and then went to lunch.

He went to where Ashton, Jaiden and Ava were waiting for him and I made my way to Michael and Page. We don't sit together at lunch because his friends and Michael wouldn't get along so we stayed separated.

A few weeks passed, filled with lots of romantic moments and chocolate. I loved how he didn't paid a fortune on the stuff he got me but still kept it cute. I decided I wanted to get or do something for him. I took Page and Ava to the mall the day after the school ended – which was a Saturday – to find Johnnie the perfect gift.

After a few hours of walking and also buying me some clothes, I settled on a Platinum Rolex. It was really expensive but I saved up enough money. Page and Ava treated me with the clothes and lunch but the watch I bought with my own money and that made me feel really good.

I told Johnnie to come over to my house at six, not telling him why. I kept it simple. Ava made Mac and Cheese and I set up a small table with candles. My brother went out and Ava went to Ashton's so we had the whole evening to ourselves. I got dressed in some of the new clothes I bought today which was a new pair of black skinny jeans, a tang top with the arisen on it and golden sandals.

I also got a haircut today. I dyed my hair a bit darker and got layers. It looked really nice, I was stunned. I put on a little make up just to cover my spots and when I opened the door for Johnnie, he took a good long look at me – his eyes filled with wonder – before he grabbed me by the waist and kissing me.

I let him in and gave him a glass of grape juice, in a wine glass. He smirked when he took a sip and noticed it was not alcohol. I made him sat by the table and me across from him.

"So, what's all this for?" he asks taking another sip from his fake alcohol. "Nothing really, I just thought I'd treat you with a nice evening" I say. For a moment or two we just gazed into each other's eyes, not looking away and the silence wasn't awkward at all.

I then stood up and brought the Mac and Cheese to the table. It looked really good. After saying our prayers – I insisted – we dug in and once again talked nonstop. We never run out of words to say to each other.

We finished the Mac and Cheese and I took out another one of Ava's masterpieces, chocolate pudding. His whole face lit up when I placed the desert in front of him, "I love you so much" he says without even noticing before he devours the pudding. "Ava really out done herself" I say when I took the first bite of my chocolate pudding. "Yeah" he says while stuffing his face.

Soon, we were sitting on the coach, kissing. I could still taste the chocolate on his lips and I couldn't get enough of it. I then pulled away, showed him my index finger indicating that he must wait when I wenr to the kitchen to get his gift. I was really enthusiastic about it. It was neatly wrapped in silver paper still in the box.

I then appeared from behind the coach with his gift in my hand. I handed it to him and watched as his eyes fills up with buzz. "A ROLAX!!!" he exclaims, "What did I do to deserve this" he asks while putting it on. I shrugged my shoulders. "I couldn't, it must have cost a fortune" he says unsure. "I insist" I say shy.

He sits closer to me, presses his forehead softly against mine and runs his fingers through my hair, "Thank you, I really appreciate this" he says just above a whisper and starts to explore my face with the tip of his fingers. "I think I love you" I say risky not making eye contact."I know I love you" he assures me before kissing me passionately and once again filling the room with electricity.
