"What do you want to know" I asked as I took the first bite out of my grilled cheese sandwich. "Who is he? Why do you talk to him? How do you know him?" he overwhelmed me with all these questions. "I'm under the impression that you don't like him" I say sarcastically as I take another bite out of my sandwich.
"Alex, who is he?" Michael asks begging for a answer. I swallowed my bite, "Just some guy, he is new around here so I showed him to his classes. We kinda met yesterday at the piano exams" I say carelessly. "Oh yeah, how was that?" Michael asks guilty. "It was fine, the judges showed no emotion at all but I'm satisfied with myself" I say while eating my sandwich. It was a really good sandwich.
"That's good, now about this guy..." he starts. I sigh and roll my eyes, "What about him?" "I don't like the looks of him..." Michael starts again. "There is nothing wrong with Johnnie!" I assure him. "Well, at least now I know his name" Michael says before taking the other half of my sandwich. "Michael, don't worry" I reassure him again before taking out my phone and reading the message from Page. Page is my only other friend. She had dark hair and she is elegant. She has the perfect body - she's athletic - and she can't sing but odd enough, she is in the choir.
Page: hey, wanna hang after school?
Me: sure, just not at my place
Page: why?
Me: my brother is being a moron
Page: k
I closed the chat and found all my food gone and a big grin on Michael's face. I just glared at him. After lunch, we had a surprise math test. Yes, I'm good in math, I get it, but that doesn't mean I like it and if the test wasn't enough to handle, I kept catching Johnnie staring at me. I am okay to look at, definitely not good looking enough to be stared at yet he wouldn't cut it out. I have to admit, Johnnie is close to drop dead gorgeous so the situation made me blush a bit.
At the end of the day I went to my locker before I going to Page. Johnnie approached me, again, and thank me for my help, "Sure, no problem" I say trying not to show how intimidated I am. "Would it be wrong if I ask for your number?" Johnnie asks after a moment of silence. I hesitated. My brother would kill me. I decided its worth the risk. "Of course not" I say and I took his phone to put my number in it. I smiled. "What did I just do?" I thought to myself while walking to Page's. I'm not that type of person.
As soon as I got there, I told her everything that happened in the last 24 hours. She seemed very keen. "I saw Johnnie today, he's quite a catch. I say you go for it, I mean, what's the worst that could happen?" she says after thinking about it. What is the worst that could happen? I could end up in arguments with my Michael, not mentioning Jason. I feel really guilty for breaking our agreement but there is something about Johnnie. I just really want to give him a chance. "Yeah, you're right!" I say. The rest of the afternoon, we just lay on her bed and listened to music. 6 o'clock, my brother texted me to come home. Luckily, Page only lives a couple of blocks away, so I walked.

I saw Johnnie once the next day but he seems settled. Thursday night I got a text
Unknown: hey, it's Johnnie
I save his number.
Me: Oh, hey Johnnie
Johnnie: Listen, if you're not busy tomorrow night, you are welcome to join us for dinner. *enter address here*
I felt a warmth in my stomach. Did he just invite me to his house?
Me: Sure that would be nice:)
Johnnie: Great! See you tomorrow. 7 o'clock?
Me: Great
I put down me phone and thought about what I just did. After a few moments of contemplating the situation, I started to feel alarmed. My brother wouldn't allow this and I'm not in the mood for another bickering. "I'll just not tell him" I assure herself as I reclined on my bed.
I love you guys, aka just LukeBrookMyHeart, you are awesome!
