Chapter 14-
Jasmine:
With my leg shaking invlountarily underneath the teal colored stool, I waited impatiently for the anonymous person that had texted me a few hours ago. I didn't know what I was expecting when he/he would walk through the door. Before she told me this visit had something to do with Ken, I had no tendency to meet up here with this he/she. In fact, I was thinking about calling the cops for the simple fact that some randon someone was calling and texting my phone. But, after reading that last text message, saying that it had something to do with Ken, I immediately agreed.
However, that didn't stop the fact that I was getting errily nervous about who was going to walk through that door and approach me. I had no clue who this person was, and the emptiness I was feeling was getting through me. I planned on staying down at this steakhouse for a max. thirty minutes, and if this person asked me to come down here to waste my time, then I had every mind to curse up a storm and leave.
Five minutes later passed, and I still hadn't seen anyone come for me. The door would open and I would infer that every person that walked through that door was here to me with me, but when they would mindlessly stride right past me, I would get this certain feel frustration. This man or woman had called to talk, and here she/he was taking it's sweet time doing whatever. If I had to wait another damn minute, then I was surely going to walk out.
Finding the means to control my patience, I decided to save time and retrieved my phone from the small purse I had firmly in my hand, then scrolled through it to see if I had misssed any important called. No one had texted me, but there was one missed call from Stephan. I contemplated on taking his call, but I decided that there would be a perfectly good time for later. Right now, I was focused on hearing what this person had to say about my Ken.
If he/she had anything to say.
As soon as ten minutes passed, I heard the door open again, and this time I felt a certain chill run through me as it bended back from the incoming customer. I immediately then let out a tiny gasp, seeing who was walking through the exit.
The creepy woman who caused a scene back at the salon.
I was immediately taken by surprise to see her here. I mean she did give me shadows about Ken and his whereabouts, but I really didn't expect her to be the one that was texting me, even though I should have. However, as she was walking in, I couldn't help to take in her beauty. From the twenty-four hours I had seen her, the woman looked even prettier than before. Her buzzcut was now a dirty blonde, her work outfit had been changed into a casual wear, and the silky pink stilettos she wore on her feet, accented her every dangerous curve she transpired. Overall, she resembled Amber Rose.
But, that still didn't excuse the suspicions I had of her.
The woman looked around suspiciously, probably looking to see if I had made it or not, and as soon as our eyes made contact, she lips stretched widely while her legs brought her to my presense. Already, I was getting a bad vibe from her not because she looked bubbly, but because she looked really suspicious.
When she finally made it to where I was sitting, she pulled out the chair before she sat comfortably in it. Here eyes didn't move from mine one second as she was doing this, and that made me really uncomfortable.
After making sure she was comfortable enough in her seat, her smile faintly subsided, but her gaze still captured mine. I had a good mine to ask her what the fuck was her problem, but I didn't come here to fight. I came here to get answers about Ken, she said she obviously had.
