VIOLET HELD HER BREATH AS HER FINGERS TRACED THE TIPS OF A HUNDRED LEATHER BOUND FILES. She had been through hundreds and was no doubt about to scan through a hundred more in the ever-tiring pursuit of information. She had grown used to the bumpy, green files; she had grown used to the once unknown sensation of disappointment. She wondered if they even had her file at all. And then she found it.

She pulled the file out of its section as her chest deflated with relief. She bumped the drawer closed with her hips as she turned towards the desk to her left, all the while scanning the all too familiar file. The last time she had this file in her hands, she had been severely punished for it. She closed her eyes as she sat on the leather chair next to the steel table, and tried to ignore the burning sensation of the torture she had to endure for her curiosity. She'd heard a phrase before, she remembered as she slapped the file onto the desk. "Curiosity killed the cat," it rang throughout her mind as she opened it and looked at the first page. Her curiosity may have killed her the first time, she thought, but back then it was for mere curiosity. Now it has a meaning. She smirked.

"But satisfaction brought it back." She muttered as her forefinger traced over the typed writing.

As Violet read the file, she began to realise that the enemy organisation really had little information on her. She couldn't decide if she was proud that she was that good of an agent, or disappointed on the lack of information. It meant that she was a conspiracy. That she may not even be the Victoria Stark she thought she was, the Victoria Stark that Bucky told her she was. It meant that all this could be for nothing. She scoffed as she read the description on Stark's personality. How can you deduct a personality from footage? She wondered. She opened up Hill's laptop that was left carelessly on the desk – but then again, it wasn't so careless, as Violet did have to pick the lock to get in. Her idea was stumped as she realised she needed a password to get onto it. Violet had no idea where to start. She tried stupid answers first, CaptainAmericaRocks or ILoveIronMan; she knew her efforts were futile, but she needed time to think. Then she realised she could access the mainframe. It took her longer than she'd hoped, but eventually she found the password through the green coding. She opened up the database that held Violet's file, and decided to edit it herself. What she knew, anyway.
