>> I'm Aright by Jo Dee Messina, reminds me of Orlando and Andromeda when they met again.

I've been sitting here for a good three hours just pacing back and forth, the last time I looked at the clock it read: 2:36 and now it reads: 5:54. I can't believe that after all this time I find Orlando, and here of all places; I was expecting a fancier place like Spain or Germany. I honestly didn't expect him to be alive..

My head whipped to the sound of a slight knocking on hard wood, like I said I've been waking up at little noises; I opened the door to see a cloak not a face.

"Come in." I gestured to inside the room as I already knew who it was.

"I'm sorry I've come so late, I'm a bit of an outcast around here." He said as I locked the door and looked out the peephole.

He looked around quickly then took off his cloak and layed it on the couch; He ran into the bathroom and turned on the sink and the shower to muffle our voices. He preceded to pull me into the bathroom and shut the door.

"Nobody will worry about a cloaked figure coming into your room, they will assume it is a mortal or Hunter; whom I know you have already met." He shrugged and looked around.

*slap* was my hand accross his face, to say I was angry and confused was an understatement.

"Ow.." Orlando rubbed his sore cheek. "You have quite a-"

"Are you kidding me right now?! Am I on some sick and twisted reality TV show that is never actually reality now that you think about it.." I trailed off pondering the mystery between 'reality' and not, specifically TV shows; Orando opened his mouth to say something.

"Well am I?!?!" I yelled and put my hands on my hips, glaring at him. For once he did something I didn't expect; He laughed.

"You-You didn't react this badly when I told you what I was.Oh god." He gasped and covered his mouth to try and hide his smile.

"I don't see how this is very funny Lando! You come after..all this time..to tell me that I'm in danger and that they-" I pointed towards the wall gesturing outside. "-Will hunt me down for what I am? I thought about you everyday and here you are.. not even a hello." Tears brimmed my eyes but I didn't let them fall.

I feared two things; losing the ones I love, and being found out for what I truly was..whatever that is. I sat on the toilet seat and put my head in my hands, I've been so stressed lately; I'm not myself..I'm too dramatic, It's like i'm PMSing. I felt him kneel in front of me and take my hands, kneeling he was still taller than me which had me look up to see into his eyes.

No, it wasn't romantic; it was a friend showing another friend he cared.

"Hello." He said and smirked when I looked at his face, I chuckled. "Ha. I got you to crack. How about I tell you where I've been eh? Then, we can talk but know this. No matter what happens, I will die to protect you." He reassured me.

"I don't want that for you, If anything I've lived too long. You've barely lived." I argued.

"Actually, I think I've lived just enough." He argued back and winked. I sighed not wanting to argue 'cause I know I would lose. "Come." he pulled me up from the toilet and lifted me up on the counter and plopped down next to me.

We talked for awhile; he told me about how he found the woman who turned him, he found her sometime in 1887 when they were doing construction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France; when he was one of the builders.

Her name was Martha O'Haran, by 'was' it means what you think. He said they were soulmates and about to have a child, that in itself was a miracle because they technically weren't alive; She commited suicide when they lost their daughter at birth.

Orlando has been roaming for years just trying to cope and live for her, he came accross Augusta sometime in the 1930's when the current Alpha's grandfather ruled the pack. the Alpha spared his life and he became an immortal guard, forever indebted to the Adrasteia Pack.

We sat in silence for awhile just enjoying each other's company.

"Remember when I was still human and we snuck on top of Doge's Palace in Venice, Italy?" He laughed at the memory and so did I.

"I remember! It was nearly impossible for you to get on top of the roof! We scared away a bunch of pigeons and one pooped on your shoulder!" I doubled over clutching my stomach, his leather tunic was forever ruined.

"Ha ha. I loved that tunic.." he frowned at the memory of that tunic.

"May your tunic rest in bird poop." I sighed and we bowed our heads in silence mockingly.

We sat there for awhile longer until he looked down at his watch and sighed; He turned off the shower which would be a huge water bill for the inn later.

"I got to go find a place to sleep, I'll see you in school later. I don't know if I can stop by till then." He smiled a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

"Why wouldn't you be able to stop by?" I asked as he stood up and I did too.

"I'm an outcast of the town, I know this sounds rediculous but it's imperative that you keep a good reputation here; that way if something does happen they might go soft." He hugged me and walked to the door.

"Wait! Where are you staying?" I questioned grabbing his arm, he can't possibly be out on the streets.

"Guards can stay at outposts on the outskirts of town when they have no place to stay, so I stay there, don't worry I'm always careful." He reassured me as he walked to the door but I blocked his path and shook my head.

"No," I stated and turned off the water but he turned panicked, started shaking his head and putting his finger to his mouth. "I'm aloud to have a friend damn it! They should respect you anyway because you work hard to help them and protect them so you are going to stay here where you are safe understand?." I finalized and he smiled and shook his head.

"Now, lets get some food and then go to bed." I turned toward the wall clock that now read 8:09. Like I said..we talked for hours.
