My eyes immediately zoned in on Micheal as I entered the room. My tummy had butterflies in it as I stared at him. Strangely I felt more comfortable with his presence. His eyes narrowed as I made my way over to him and the rest of the pack.

"What happened to your arm?" He asked sounding concerned as he analyzed the bandaged. His anger coursed through me as he tried to unwrap the bandage. It overwhelmed me and had me pulling my arm from him.

"Micheal I'm okay." I said as I continued to try to pull my arm from his grip.

"Just let me look." He pleaded with me. I almost felt bad for fighting against him but if he saw what was under the wrap, he'd go off. I looked towards Max for help.

Max rolled his eyes before he came towards us."Micheal we don't want to make a scene," he pulled Micheal away from me, and got him to sit down.

A banging of a gavel had us turning around. The scowl on the judge’s face told me that I didn't have a chance at winning this case.

"This is case number 84C01-0703-JD-00569, in the matter of the human vs. the rogue." The judge announced. His voice bellowed throughout the room and everyone became silent. I narrowed my eyes slightly at the old man.

"Who's representing the human?" The judge asked.

"My names not human, it's Robin." I snapped. It slipped out before I could stop it. But I didn't regret saying it either, but the look on the judge’s face made me thinks I should have.

"Robin you can't say that to the judge," he whispered in my ear. "My apologies your honor but I'll be representing the hu- Robin." Max answered.

"And you are?" The judge asked.

"I'm Max, alpha of the Lupi Mortali. And this is my beta Micheal." Max replied. The judge nodded before speaking.

"Who's representing the rogue?" When he spoke of the rogues it was like they left a bad taste in his mouth. That gave me some sort of satisfaction that we had a slight chance at winning.

A man with dirty blonde hair stepped up for the rogues. He looked as if he didn't belong with them, other than the current scowl on his face. But the look he gave me sent chills down my spine.

Growls erupted through the pack which caused the whole room to erupt with them. It was as if they were having a screaming match and was seeing who could scream the loudest.

"I want order in my courtroom or so help me I'll have all of you skinned and hanged for display." The judge demanded. I gulped; my hand reached out and found Micheal's. The judge composed his self “Now I don't want to hear any of that anymore, understand." He spoke in a monotone voice.

"Now," he began while flipping though some papers."Human, you are being charged with one count of murder and kidnapping. How do you plead?" The judge glared at me. His piercing blue eyes held hatred. I just don't see where it came from though and why it was aimed at me.

I've never been in court before, surprisingly. Throughout my three years of living on the streets I've never been arrested. And now this. Being a werewolf’s mate is starting to become a bother.

"Innocent your honor." Max answered. I had a bad feeling that Max has never been in this situation before.

"Innocent." A voice boomed from behind us. I rolled my eyes and mentally cursed. The alpha from before had a smile on his face as he stared at me. "Robin you’re a hunter and what do hunters do?" He stopped in front of me waiting for an answer.

I smiled as I answered his question with another question."I don't know what do you?" I mocked him.

"Your honor, as you can see there’s nothing innocent about this girl." The alpha responded. I scoffed, it was meant to be a low one. How could I forget the most important fact, they were wolfs.

He turned to me with a smirk on his face."Do you have anything to say Robin?" He questioned. I had a feeling that he was going to try to get under my skin and then make me snap.

Smiling innocently at him I spoke, “I think you should talk to Max," Pausing I turned to Max,"I mean he is in fact my alpha." My voice sounded sweet and innocent. When inside my voice was wavering.

Max smiled proudly as I looked at him and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Alphas.

"Let's let the one who called us here speak, bring him to the stand." The alpha pointed to the rogue. His eyes were trained on me as he approached the stand. So I did what any other girl would do, I glared back at him.

"What is there for me to say she kidnapped my son Tommy and killed my mate" The man spoke. My eyes widen as he threw the accusation my way. Fake tears made its way to the man's eyes.

"You didn't tell me that you were Tommy's brother, Alex." Micheal snapped. We turned to the blonde that had helped them earlier. The fact that he was standing on our side spoke for itself.

"You’re not my dad." Tommy blurted out. The hatred in his eyes burned through the man. Tommy pushed away from Alex and ran and grabbed my leg. "Robin tell him that he's not my dad." Tommy pleaded with me.

What was I suppose to tell him. That the rogue sitting in front of us wasn't his father that would be a lie. I refused to lie to Tommy ever again. But if he thought he was taking Tommy from me he had another thing coming.

"I won't lie to you Tomm-"

"So she admits it's." The alpha cut me off.

"Maybe we should let Robin tell her side story?" I heard Kirah ask, “We are going to at least hear her out before she's sentenced aren't we Daemon?" Kirah smiled at me then sent a smirk the alpha's way.

His gaze softened as he looked at Kirah."Everyone deserves a fair trial." I was surprised at how easy he agreed to it. Putting two and two together I was happy that they were mates.

I approached the stand slowly, "Where do I began."

Author's notes: I’m sorry for the short chapter. I have a bad case of "The Writers Blocks" maybe I should work on another story. That might help.
