Robin's POV

Everything came back to me all at once. My emotions were scattered everywhere, the two I felt the most were fear and anger. When I opened my eyes the first thing I saw was a pair of blue eyes staring back at me. They held worry, concern, and love.

For the life of me I just couldn't stop my thoughts from going haywire. Why was I with Micheal, he was in fact one of them. I was in love with him, I trusted him with not only me, but Tommy as well. That was why I was with him.

He wasn't human, though I still loved him.

"Robin, are you okay." Micheal, asked as I sat up. We were sitting outside of the courtroom on a bench.

"He killed her," My voice was just above a whisper. If it weren't for his sensitive hearing, he would not have heard it."his mate."

He nodded,"I know Robin."

"I'm going to get blamed for what he did." I spoke lowly, as I placed my head in my hands. Nothing could stop me from going down. What would the penalty for killing a werewolves mate be? Death, even I knew that.

"I won't let that happen Robin." Micheal said, as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Micheal what is the penalty for killing a werewolves mate?" I whispered out, even though I already knew the answer.

A light growl left his throat, he pulled me into his body more tightening his grip."Trust me when I say this. I won't let them hurt you, I'd die before I let that happen."

That was what I was afraid of. Him dieing for me, I didn't want anyone dieing for me. Especially not someone I loved. I pulled out of Micheal's embrace and stood up. He followed my actions.

"Look Micheal if anything happens to me I don't won't you to do anything." I knew what I was saying was unfair."I don't won't you dieing for me."

His blue eyes darkened slightly."Robin if you die a part of me will die." He said as he stepped closer to me. He outstretched his arms, but I backed away from him.

"If I die then you die. What's going to happen to Tommy?" He exhaled deeply, then stepped back away from me."What about him Micheal?

"You know I love Tommy Robin but-"

I shook my head,"No buts Micheal. If something happens to me then I want you to still be here for Tommy."

He stood there for a moment without talking. His head hanging down towards the ground. I knew what I was about to ask next was a lot. But I needed to know.

"Promise me Micheal." I said as I stepped closer towards him. His eyes were still trained on the ground, refuseing to meet my eyes."Promise me that when something happens, you won't put yourself in danger. That you won't do anything that could possible get you killed."

"How can you make me promise something like that." He whispered out, his voice low and filled with pain.

"Because Micheal I love you and Tommy. I'd rather it be me than one of you." I told him, as I took his hands in mine.

He shook his head,"I'll promise." He looked up at me."But nothing is going to happen to you."

The determination in his voice wasn't missed. A sad smile made it's way on my lips. I thought I was suppose to be the stubborn one. Sighing, I ran a hand through my dark hair. There had to be someway out of this.

The doors to the court room opened."Glad to see your awake now." Daemon said as he walked towards us. He had a grim smile on his face as he looked between us."The judge would like to go ahead and resume this case."
