Chapter Twenty-Three

Robin's POV

As soon as the morning sun hit my eyes I shut them back.My head was killing me,it felt like I'd been hit with a slug-hammer.I rolled back over on my side and snuggled up to a pillow.This was a warm pillow..wait pillows aren't suppose to be warm.I slid my hand up and felt around.Pillows also didn't have abs and a heart beat.I turned to look up at what I was cuddling.

I pushed away from his bare chest and landed onto the floor with a loud dump."Robin,are you okay? Did I push you off the bed?" He asked,loudly.I grabbed my head and grimaced in pain."Micheal! I'm okay,can you please just keep your voice down." I pleaded,as I stared at him.A look of understanding crossed his face,as he smirked.

He sat down in front of me"Do you wanna know what you did last night?" He whispered,in an mocking but angry tone.I sighed did I really want to know?Considering the fact that I woke up half naked in the bed with Micheal.I pulled the sheets up so that they were covering my breast."Oh covering up should be the last thing on your mind." He said,while grinning at me.

I looked down as I played with my fingers"Was it that bad?" I whispered softly."Well let's see you were totally wasted. And that's not even the worst part. You got up on a table and began to strip for every one." He growled the last part,bitterly."You did stop me, right?" I questioned with a raised brow.

"Technically I tried to stop you,but someone beat me to it." He said,as he leaned back on his hands."If you didn't stop me,then who did?" I questioned,as I tried not to stare at his chest."Some boy named Dylan,you met him when you were wasted." He said shrugging.I'm never going to get drunk again."But your rambling did remind me that I never asked you to be my girlfriend." He said, as he stared at me nervously.

"Aww,it's so cute how you still get nervous around me." I teased,trying to prolong his nervousness by not answering.He narrowed his eyes at me"Do you really want to tease your boyfriend." He asked with a smirk on his face,as he leaned in closer.I raised my brow at him"Don't remember agreeing to that. For all I know I'm still single." I stated with a smirk.

I let out a little scream when he tackled me softly on the floor.He hovered over my body as he stared at me."I would advise you to say yes or suffer the consequences." He warned,with a smirk playing at his lips.I eyed him suspiciously before speaking."I'm so scared." I responded.He grinned mischievously at me then attacked.

I tried pushing his hands away from my sides,as he tickled me."Micheal..stop!" I pleaded out between laughter.The tingles intensified his tickling."Say yes and I'll stop." He taunted,as he tickled me more.Who knew I was so ticklish?"Okay..okay I give I'll be your girlfriend." I said.I laid down on the floor to get my breathing regulated.

A knock on the door had him throwing the covers on my body.He growled lowly,as he gave the person permission to come in.Sally's mom walked into the room with her head bowed."Sorry for interrupting you beta. But I was wondering have you seen my daughter." I could hear the desperation in her voice.She had unshed tears in her eyes.I began to worry.

"I haven't seen her since the attack." Micheal said,I could her the concern in his voice.I gulped the attacked happened two days ago.And if she hasn't seen Sally,then that meant Tommy was missing.I bolted out of Micheal's room and ran into mines.They weren't their either.I could her Micheal yelling my name as I ran down the stairs.I didn't care that I didn't have on clothes.

I could her talking and laughing coming from the kitchen.It all stopped when I ran in the kitchen."Please tell me that one of you seen Tommy and Sally." I begged to the guys.They looked at me strangely and shook their heads."Max nobody has seen them since the attack." I informed him,as I began pacing back and fourth.I had a bad feeling that something bad had happened.

Micheal ran down the stairs and pulled a t-shirt over my head."Micheal,I think we have a problem." Max said.I could hear the panic and worry in his voice.The fact that this was the first time I seen him panic in a situation,made me panic even more.It was getting harder for me to breathe as my legs collapsed from under me."Robin,listen to me I'm going to need you too calm down." Micheal said as he kneeled beside me.

The panic and the worry began to build up as I thought about Tommy.I should have been keeping a better eye on him.Instead I was prancing around with Micheal.What was I thinking?How could I have let Micheal take my attention away from Tommy.Anger began to make it's way through my body as I moved away from Micheal's touch.

He looked hurt by my actions but didn't make an attempt to come closer."Have you tried to mindlink her?" Micheal questioned,as he glanced at Max then back to me."I can't reach or feel her. Micheal Assemble all of the men. Travis contact the nearest packs and inform them." Max said as he headed outside.I only watched in silence as they left.

"Look,Robin trust me when I say this,I'll find them," He said softly as he stared at me."I love you." He said,as he searched my eyes for something.I had already blanked my face so no emotion could be read.He sighed lowly before standing up and leaving.As soon as I heard the door shut I broke down crying.

The girls ran to try to comfort me but I pushed them away.I never liked being comforted anyway.It felt weird to me.One thing my dad did teach me was not to depend on anyone.But I found myself wanting to be comforted by them.I felt Vanessa wrap her arms around my shoulder and pull me towards her.

"Shhh," She said as she hugged me."it's going to be okay." She whispered in my ear.I sobbed even harder as I listened to her words."Micheal is going to find them." She said as she rubbed my arm.I could her the sadness in her voice as it cracked.Tommy and Sally going missing was effecting her too.

Micheal's POV

I couldn't believe I let Robin and Tommy down like that.I've been so busy trying to make Robin mine that I pushed Tommy aside.I did introduce him to Sally so that I could be with Robin more.I actually did it for both of our benefits,he needed friends that were his age,and I needed to get to know Robin.If something bad happened to him I did't know what I'd do.

"Max,if does rogues did something to them-I'll kill them all." I mindlinked Max as we searched the area.He greeted my answer with a low growl.He wasn't the one to lose his composure in a situation.I was never one to stay calm in these types of situations.That's probably why I'm the beta.

I sniffed the ground looking for a scent or hint that they were still around.My search came up empty.I growled loudly as I knocked down a near by tree."Maybe we should split up and expand the search?" Travis asked as he joined the group.I looked towards Max for an answer.He nodded as he ran off in a different direction.

I went off by myself to the more darker parts of the woods.I don't know why I started my search there.I stuck my nose to the ground and caught a faint smell of them.All my senses went on full alert as I speed up my pace.I was getting closer to the end of our territory.Why did they come this far out?I asked myself as I sniffed around.

I found a pile of flowers laying on the ground.They smelled faintly of Tommy and Sally indicating that they'd been here.Now I know what they were doing,but why so far out?That questioned lingered in my head for a while as I continued my search.

My head snapped towards the bushes when I heard movement.I held in a growl as I caught an unknown scent.I went back to sniffing the ground.I jumped out of the way as a rogue wolf jumped out at me.With one swap of my paw I had him pinned to the ground by the neck.The rogue whimpered as I applied pressure.Before I could do anything else another rogue jumped out.

I bared my teeth at the rogue as it circled me.Why it hadn't attacked yet bothered me.Rogues didn't put to much time into thinking.I recognized the rogue as the one from a week ago,and guessed that Cade was the one under my paw.He gave me a wolfish smirk as more rogues started to surround me.I narrowed my eyes at the blonde wolf in front of me.

"Max I've run into some trouble." I mindlinked Max.Cade kicked me off of him when I got distracted.I growled lowly as the rogues started too close in on me.It may have been more of them but I was sure going to put up a good fight.The blonde wolf shot me a look and then barked loudly at the rogues.

I took that bark for a signal as the rogues lunged for me.I took out the first rogue with a swift bite to the neck.Tearing flesh and painful howls sounded through the forest,as I killed the rogues.I was blindsided as the blonde wolf knocked me to the ground.All the other wolves pounced on me as I laid on the ground.I growled a loud feral growl before I was knocked out.
