Chapter Eight

MMSMMP-Chapter Eight

Robin's POV

Maybe I should have listened to Micheal,and I'm pretty sure I've passed that tree before.So it's safe to say that I'm lost.Yup I should have definitely listened to him.I sighed but kept walking.The forest is kind of nice,it's relaxing and quiet.Maybe that's why they all spend so much time in the forest.

But I couldn't relax because Tommy was maybe still in here.I should just stop and wait for someone to find me.I shook my head and kept walking.Were was that yellow brick road when I needed it.

My mind kept drifting back to Tommy.What if he got lost too?Was he alright and did Micheal find him?All these questions kept replaying in my head.And it angered me that I didn't have an answer to them.I stopped when I noticed I was at a river.How I got their was beyond me.

I sighed and sat down I wasn't getting anywhere.I thought about the wolves.I hadn't seen any yet but that still didn't mean they haven't seen me.I pushed that thought away quickly,because panicking wouldn't help.I grabbed a big stick that was next to me.

Because if they did attack I would at least fight back.I thought about yelling for help but decided against it.Yelling would only attract unwanted attention.I heard rustling in the bushes and I stood up.I turned towards the noise and gripped down tighter on my stick.

I swallowed hard as the noise continued.I sighed as a baby deer jumped out."Alright bambi next time I'm going to use this stick." I warned as the fawn stared at me.I smiled as he went to get a drink.I wondered were was it's mother,could it have been mother less like me.

I watched as it trotted back into the woods and I was once alone again.I looked down into the water to see my reflection.I felt something come behind me and I swung the stick."Ouch!" Micheal yelled,while rubbing his head.I immediately dropped the stick and helped him rub his head."I'm so sorry micheal." I said while rubbing his head."Uh it's okay." He said sounding amused.

I stopped rubbing his head when I realized what I was doing."Wheres Tommy." I asked quickly.He looked behind him and I looked too.I smiled and ran towards Tommy and hugged him tightly.I pulled away to look at him."Don't you ever do that to me again,don't you know how worried I was." I said and hugged him again before he could say anything.

"I'm sorry robin." He said quietly.I sighed"Just promise me you'll never run away from me again." I asked.He smiled weakly at me"I promise." He said and hugged me.

A throat cleared"Speaking of promises,didn't you promise to stay out of the woods." Micheal said in a serious tone.He glared at me and crossed his arms over his chest."Well I didn't actually say I promised." I said,while looking at everything but him."Okay then I have to punish you." He said in a sinister tone.My eyes widen I didn't like the smirk he was giving me.

Micheal POV

I couldn't believe she broke her promise.It pissed me and my wolf off to know end.But I couldn't actually say that I didn't see it coming.Then I had to worry about Tommy too.He was just a little kid he could have easily gotten lost.I loved them both already and I wouldn't want anything to happen to them.

When I found him he was leaning against a tree trunk with his eyes clothes.His eyes snapped open quickly making me wonder what was wrong.I probably startled him.I hated how he thought crying made him weak.Because if that was true everybody would be weak.

But at least I learned something about robin.If she gave someone her word she'd keep it.But if she didn't actually say she would do something then she wouldn't.Head nods don't count.

After my little talk with Tommy I had to go find robin.It wasn't going to be too hard since I felt the mates pull.My wolf thought she should be punished but I knew better.He was only on the edge because of the rogue situation."So do like robin." I heard Tommy ask.

I looked down at him,to see him smirking at me."Yeah I like her." I admitted.Thinking of her was calming me down and angering me at the same time."Well she likes you too but just won't admit it." He said while looking around.

My wolf howled loudly in my head at his comment.I sniffed the air she was closer than I thought."She told you that." I asked.He shrugged his shoulders"I just know her by now and I could tell by the way she looks at you." He said while smiling.

I smiled.I knew she had to have some sort of feelings for me.But he just proved it.I felt my anger towards her disappear slowly as I talked to Tommy.He was telling me stories about him and her.As if he knew I was angry and he was trying to calm me down.It was working.

"Oh this one time me and robin were walking down the street,eating some food she had gotten for us.And their were these kids one was around my age and the other was a little younger than robin.She gave all her food to them so they could eat." He finished and I couldn't help but smile.

Her scent got stronger as we neared the river.I was happy to see that nothing was wrong with her.I walked up behind her,but I should have made some type of noise.Because she brought a big stick down on my head.It would have hurt like hell if he didn't start rubbing it.And if I had a tail I would have wagged it.But she pulled away to soon.

I stood back and watched as they had their moment.I cleared my throat when I heard robin say promise."Speaking of promises,didn't you promise to stay out of the woods." I said in a serious tone,I glared at her.And crossed my arms over my chest.

"Well I didn't actually say I promised." She said,while looking at everything but me.I smirked"Okay then I have to punish you." I said in the best sinister tone I could make.Her eyes widen.I picked her up and flung her over my shoulder.

"Micheal put me down." She screamed and hit my back with her hands.I smacked her butt,I smirked when I heard her gasp.I walked over towards the river and smiled down into the water."Micheal think about what your doi-" She didn't get to finish as I tossed her in the water.

"Micheal!" She screamed.I smirked as she glared at me.I reached my hand out to help her.But she pulled me in"Ha! That's what you get." She teased ."Cannon ball." We both looked up to see Tommy jumping in.

"Hey this type of punishment is fun." He said,while swimming around her.She stared at him strangely and then shook her head.I couldn't help but smile when she splashed me.We swam and played in the water till it was time to go.

Tommy's POV

I didn't want to go I was having fun.I wasn't planning on jumping in the river.Mainly because I didn't know how to swim.But when I hit the water my instinct kicked in.And the next thing I knew I was swimming.The water felt nice.I really liked swimming I can't wait to go back.

"When can we go back." I asked robin,she turned to look at micheal."How about I take you guys back tomorrow." He suggested.I smiled as robin nodded her head.I guess she liked swimming to.I was going to miss the forest it was my calm place.

"So Tommy when did you learn to swim." Robin asked.I shrugged my shoulders"I don't know I guess I must have learned it when I was little." I said,she looked at me for a second then shook her head.

Wow even robin thought I was weird.I sighed I really was an odd ball.A freak maybe.I wonder what robin thought."Robin do you think I'm a freak." I asked quietly.She stared down at me trying to see if I was serious."No I don't think your a freak.A genius maybe but a freak no.Why did somebody call you a freak?" She asked.

I shook my head.Micheal was walking a little bit in front of us.I guess he was just trying to give us our Space."Sometimes I just feel different." I said.She sighed"Being different doesn't mean your a freak it's just what makes you special." She said with a caring tone.

I nodded my head as we continued to walk towards the house.
