Anthony:

My post-break up depressions usually last from four to six days.

Except, I had a feeling this one would be way longer. For one, it was the longest relationship I've ever had, one year and eleven months, and by far the best. I really loved her. Despite how much we fought, I honestly thought she was the one. On our two-year anniversary, which was only a month away, I was going to ask about moving in together. We spent all the time together anyways, why not just live together?

But no, she had to cheat on me. She had the nerve to have sex with another guy for God knows how long and not tell me. I really didn't understand cheating. If you really liked someone else enough to sleep with them, why not just date them and come clean to your partner? I can honestly say I have never even thought about cheating on any of my girlfriends, and never plan to. But, I've lost three of mine to cheating, and I'm actually starting to think I should just give up. If three girls that have been "in love" with me don't think I'm good enough to the point that they'll sleep with another guy behind my back, maybe no one will.

I was just lying on my back on top of my un-made bed, in the same clothes as yesterday and maybe even the day before, staring at the ceiling and thinking about nothing when I heard my bedroom door open.

"What, Ian?" I muttered, not even bothering to look up. "If you're gonna tell me to get up and do something, then don't even bother-"

"I'm not," he interrupted, and I felt him sit on the edge of my bed. "I just wanted to talk to you."

I didn't say anything. I knew he would start talking eventually.

And he did. "Look, I have this... idea. And you're probably gonna think it's insane and reject it immediately, but before you say anything, just hear me out."

I sighed and rolled over on my side so I could face him. He looked down at me and I raised my eyebrows to ask what the hell he was talking about, because I was too depressed to open my mouth.

"I think we should take the summer off."

I blinked and narrowed my eyes at him. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"Just listen." He took a deep breath and I rolled my eyes because he always did this. Ian was my best friend and I would take a bullet for him any day, but he was just so stupid sometimes. He always had these "genius" ideas that were totally unrealistic and plain idiotic.

"I think we just need a break. A few months of no filming, no editing, no writing, no stress. We deserve it. And look at you. You're not gonna wanna do anything for a while, obviously, so it makes sense. And it's not like-"

"Ian, that's insane. We can't just 'take the summer off.'"

"But we can."

I shot him a stop-being-stupid-and-leave-me-alone look, but he kept talking. "Seriously, Anthony. Taking just a few months off wouldn't do any harm. We just make a video explaining that we're gonna be gone a while, and then come back in the fall. And think about it, we haven't had a summer vacation since high school."

"Every day is a summer vacation."

"But it's not. We're working."

"Other adults have to work in the summer."

He sighed heavily and I looked up to see him running his fingers through his hair. "Please. Think about how nice it would be. And... and..."

"What?"

"And we could finally go on that road trip we've wanted since middle school."

I closed my eyes. "What road trip?"

"You know, the one we always used to talk about where we go like, all around the country. Now's the perfect time."

I didn't say anything. Yes, I have always wanted to go on some sort of road trip. But not when I had just lost the best relationship of my life.

"Please, Anthony. I really wanna do this."

I sighed. "If I say yes, will you leave?"

"Yes."

"Then yes."

"Oh hell yes." I opened my eyes and watched him stand up, smiling.

Did I really just agree to drive all around the country for a whole summer while taking off work?

"I'll start planning!"

He nearly danced out of the room, and I have to say, it made me feel a little better to know that I had made him so happy. Even though he was a major dumbass and I wanted to kill him sometimes, Ian was by far the most important person in my life. He had been my very best friend for years and years, and he always would be. And even though I was sometimes blinded by my relationships, he always came before them.

And, as much as I hate to admit it, he was right. I was getting really stressed out by Smosh stuff. I needed a break. We needed a break.

And who knows, maybe this little road trip of his will be kinda fun.

A/N: Woo! A road trip! How do you guys like this so far? It's still kinda slow, but y'know, like always, it'll get better ^_^ See ya latah c:
