Ian:
I spent three whole days planning our entire route. And I have to say, I was pretty proud of the outcome.
We would basically be going all around the country, hitting every major city and monument and all that fun stuff. From Vegas to Mount Rushmore to DC to Miami; we would be there. The trip surely would take all summer, and a whole lot of gas money. But we could make it work.
Anthony spent three whole days laying in his room.
And, I mean, it was understandable, I guess. Sure, I wish he would come out and help me, but he needed time to get over this. I mean, I've never had the post-break up period, but I've heard it's pretty bad. And that was a pretty long relationship. He would get over it, though. He gets over everything.
He agreed to go on the trip though, so we were going on the damn trip.

Earlier today, we called up our crew and told them that instead of filming the video we were planning on, we were gonna do something different. They agreed, not really questioning because they by now knew how unpredictable we were, and came over at about noon.
This has been the first day Anthony has left his room for more than five minutes at a time. And I'm serious about that. He only got up to use the bathroom. I brought him food a few times a day, but I don't think he ate it. He was a total wreck, and I felt terrible. But, after today, he had four whole days to hide in his room before we left for our adventure.
I went back to my room to grab my phone while our crew was setting up, and almost ran straight into Anthony, who was finally emerging from his room like an animal from hibernation.
I smiled a little at him. He had finally taken a shower and put on good clothes, and most likely due to his amazing acting skills, he looked totally normal.
"You sure you're okay to do this?" I asked, eyeing him seriously. "Because we can put it off a few more days-"
"No, I'm fine." He shot me a smile that anyone but his best friend would believe was real.
"You sure?"
He sighed. "Let's just get it over with."

We recorded the video in only four takes, probably only because it was less than two minutes long. It was basically Anthony and I just standing in front of the camera, explaining that we wouldn't be making videos this summer and we were really sorry and nothing would be different when we come back and don't unsubscribe because we'll kill you in your sleep (of course we needed some sort of humor.) Our crew was pretty surprised, but they were just as happy as we were that they got a whole summer of doing nothing.
And there it was, the last time we would record for three months.
And I have to say, it felt pretty great.
So we said goodbye to our crew, and then Anthony went back to his room, and I went to edit for the last time for three months. And the whole time I couldn't stop smiling, because it was sinking in that this was really happening.
A few minutes into my editing session, I heard the door open behind me and Anthony walked in.
"Oh," he said, a little surprised when he saw me. "I can do that..."
"No, it's no big deal. I got it." I smiled up at him.
And he was surprised because I didn't edit much. If I did I was usually helping Anthony or doing Ian is Bored, but our main plan was that he would edit if I wrote the scripts.
