"I guess you had a good vacation." Me and James were currently at the gym. We got back from the Bahamas two days ago.

"Yeah, I did. Not gonna lie, feels strange saying I have a boyfriend now." I thought I would cringe at the mention of me dating a man, but I didn't. I woke up with Ethan in my arms, and I felt at peace. Normally when I wake up with a woman in my arms I get the hell up. Even with Katherina, I couldn't let her sleep in my arms.

"I'm just glad we can finally come to the gym, and not have to worry about you banging a trainer." Jackass started cracking up at the memory.

"One time! And she wanted it a lot more than I did." I punched the bag harder.

"So, Ethan knows about everything?" I stopped punching the bag, and grabbed some water. I took my towel and started wiping my face.

"Yeah. He already knew some of it from the tabloids. But he was determined to know everything. Let's just say after I had to start counting with my toes, I was in deep shit." He let out a long whistle before sitting down.

"Poor guy, I'd be pissed off too. So what did you do to make up for it?"

"Gave him my phone." I saw the confusion on his face and laughed. "I told him that my being with him means I am faithful to him, and only him. He didn't believe me, so I gave him my phone. I told him the number of all of my dates were on it, and he could do with it as he sees fit. It seemed to make him happy."

"Carter." He placed his hand on my shoulder. "I'm proud of you man. I don't fully know this Ethan guy, but I know he's good for you. He's managed to do what no woman could."

"You wanna meet him? Properly I mean."

"Yeah."

I called Ethan on my phone using his. Since he had my phone he gave me his. I told him about James wanting to meet him, and he was excited. He said he remembered James from the night at the club.

We were currently on our way to pick Ethan up. It was me, James, and his sister Jenny. James didn't want to go as a third wheel, but didn't feel like bringing a random girl. Besides, Jenny is actually a really cool girl. She had a crush on me as a kid, but got over it after she meet her boyfriend Marcus.

"Have to say Carter, I'm surprised. Never would have thought you would be gay. The future population is now safe." I also forgot to mention she sees me as a brother now, and just loves to mess with me like she does James.

"Hey Jenny?"

"Yeah?"

"Shut up." James was dying in the passenger seat. He always said me and Jenny were more a like in personality than they are. "We're here."

"This is his house?!" They both said at the same time. I got out first and waited for them to get out.

"Damn Carter. You're rich, he's rich. Can a bitch get a loan, I have to go to college." I just laughed as she took in the sight of the house. I knocked on the door, and it instantly opened.

"Master Carter, come in. The young master is waiting for you."

"Thanks Jarvis." We stepped inside and he led us to where Ethan was.

"What is he? A prince?" I know she meant is as a joke, but Jarvis never laughed.

"He is?!" Even I didn't know that.

"Not exactly." I looked forwards and saw Ethan. He was in casual clothes again. He paused his game and stood up. "My mother comes from a long line of royals. I'm like, twenty-fourth in line?"

"Should have known your mom was royalty. She looks it." We walked into the room, and I pulled Ethan into my arms. I can't believe how much I missed having him at my side. "Ethan, allow me to introduce you. This is my best friend James Evans, and his younger sister Jennifer."

"Jenny!" I forgot. She hates being called Jennifer. "Anyway, hello Ethan. It's nice to meet the man that has put Carter in check." They all laughed while I shot Jenny a dirty look.

"Hey Jenny? Shut up." That only made them laugh more. I liked the sound of Ethan's laugh, so I let it go this once.

"Your friends seem really nice." James and Jenny left a few hours ago. So me and Ethan were laying on his bed, his head resting on my chest.

"They are. James was the one who kept pushing me to give this a chance." He lifted his head up and looked at me.

"What do you mean?"

"Remember when we first met?" He nodded his head. "I have always thought of myself as a full straight man. I knew what I liked, and that was it. Then you come along, and suddenly I'm not sure. The whole thing scared me, since I no longer knew exactly who I was. I thought it was better for both of us if I pushed you away."

"And now?" His face was closer to mine. His cheeks were tinted pinked, and his pupils were so big, they turned his gray eyes black.

"Now." I placed my hand on his soft cheek. The warmth from his skin traveling through my hand. I ran my thumb over his bottom lip, which was parted ever so slightly. "Now, I can't seem to stay away." I leaned my head forward, but he placed a finger on my lips.

"Wait." Did I push him too far? "I had ice cream. I know you hate sweet things." I took his finger from my lips, and kissed the tip of it.

"If I hated sweet things." I closed the distance between us, and kissed his sweet soft lips. "Then I wouldn't be here." His face was bright red, and he had tears in his eyes.

"Carter." He laid his head back on my chest. I could feel his tear drops hitting my shirt, making it wet. "Remind me to thank our parents."

"Definitely." I ran my fingers through his soft brown hair. His hair was softer than any woman's I've ever touched.

"That was my first kiss." I had a smirk on my face, but he couldn't see it. I'll tell him eventually that it's actually his second, but not today.

"I'm glad. But I hope that I will be the only one to kiss you from now. Besides, you are my fiance." He looked back at me, his chin on my chest. That sweet smile that I have come to love on his face.

"You are, and I am." That's how that night ended. I will work hard to make this marriage work. And I will work hard to be the heir to my father's company. Besides, I'm working for love now.
