Our honeymoon in Italy was amazing. For the first few days I wouldn't let poor Ethan out of bed. Let's just say his body has become my new addiction. I would carry him to the bath every time he wanted to freshen up. His legs and hips were killing him, but he always kept a smile on his face. After almost a week he finally asked to be given a break.

"Carter, please, can we, take a break." He was panting, and his cheeks were red. I could see the sweat clinging to his body, the thin sheets covering his lower waist. He was truly an amazing sight to see, but for my eyes only.

"Sure babe." I kissed his forehead and carried him into the bathroom. He has muscles, but he is still a lot smaller than me. He weights almost noting, so carrying him is easy.

"Thank you." I get into the bath with him, this tub is able to fit three people comfortably. I grab a wash cloth and start washing his skin. He tilts his head back and closes his eyes. I decided to take him out to eat after this.

"Come on, any longer here and we'll be prunes." I help him out, and we both head back to the room. I find something to change into. I settle on some black jeans, a white V-neck shirt, my leather jacket and my dog tags. I turn and see Ethan dressed in some dark blue jeans, and a gray hoodie. I can't help but smile at the sight of him. We are polar opposites, but we are attracted to one another.

"Why are you smiling about?" He walked closer to me and cupped my face. I will forever wonder how he manages to stay so warm. I cover his right hand with my left, while I bring him closer with my right.

"I still can't believe you're mine." I kiss his lips and take his hand. "Come on. If we don't leave now we might never get the chance." He laughs, and it makes my heart swell. I love hearing him laugh, because it means that I'm making him happy.

We decided to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant. He said his legs were too tired to walk for too long. I just smiled and did as asked. We order some pasta and wine. I watch as he elegantly eats and drinks. The way he holds his fork and knife, the way he tilt the wine glass. It's easy to see that he has been raised with class. I can truly see him becoming CEO of the company one day.

"You're staring again." He gave me another bashful smile. When he gets like this, the image of a strong CEO vanishes. He puts on a business look when talking about work. I hate that look, because it almost takes away his innocence. Then again, I think I already did that. "Is there a joke I didn't catch on to?" He tilts his head to the side, making him look like a pup.

"Sorry, can't I stare lovingly at my husband?" I take a hold of his hand over the table, and the warm smile he gives me send me to cloud nine. "I love you Ethan."

"And I love you Ca-."

"Carter!" He didn't get to finish. Behind him is the one person I never expected to see here.

"Katherina?!" She came over and stopped next to me. I looked up at her, noticing that something about her seem different, but not being able to put my finger on it. But I didn't have much time to dwell on it, since she was now trying to speak to me.

"Carter, I didn't expect to see you here. What an amazing surprise." She looked towards Ethan, and a lustful look passed her eyes. But she quickly averted her gaze from him to me. "Carter, and who might your friend be?" I saw Ethan flinch at the word friend. I know she knows who Ethan is, she's just playing stupid.

"Katherina, this is my husband Ethan. Ethan this is Katherina." I made sure to put as much emphasis on the word husband as possible.

"Oh." Her right fist clenched, but thankfully Ethan didn't seem to notice this. "So this is the infamous Ethan. It's so nice to finally meet you."

"Like wise." He still managed to keep a smile on his face, but I could tell she was bothering him. But Ethan is too much of a gentleman to tell her to leave, but I'm not.

"Katherina we are currently in the middle of our honeymoon. Would you mind leaving us alone?" I rested my chin on my knuckles. I saw her eye twitch, but she knows that she's not gonna win.

"Sure, congratulations. Carter." She placed a hand on my shoulder, and that alone made my skin crawl. Her hand was still there, and it made me clench fist until my knuckles turned white. "I hope to see you again."

It was silent for awhile after she left. I kept scratching at my shoulder, I know I broke skin. I could feel the blood staining my shirt, but my jacket was covering it. "Carter." I looked up and saw him smiling at me, and it was a real smile. "I love you." Hearing him say that made me relax. I thought he was sure to be pissed off.

"I'm sorry, I was sure you'd be pissed."

"No. She's a very beautiful woman, I could see why she was your favorite." He went back to eating, but had a knowing smirk on his face. I couldn't help but stare at him stunned.

"How, did you know?" I swear if James blabbed I'm gonna cut his tongue off. He must have known what I was thinking, because he started to laugh.

"Don't kill James, he didn't tell me. Besides, you'll miss him too much if you do." I mumbled under my breath, making him laugh even more, because he knew he was right. "Anyway. I knew by the way she acted around you. And the fact that you remembered her name was a dead give away." He's right. When he asked me once about the other girls, I couldn't even remember their names.

"Ethan, I'm sorry." He noticed the pain in my face, because he reached his hand over the table, and placed it on my cheek. I took it and kissed the palm of his hand.

"Carter don't apologize. Those girls are in your past, and I hope that is where they will remain." I played with the silver band on his finger, and smiled when the light hit it.

"You have my word." The rest of the night we spent talking about our past, and dreams for our future. He told me he had a match a few days after we get home, and he has to catch up on school. I never realized how much Ethan had going for him. Hearing everything he has to do when we gets home made me make up my mind. Once we get back I'm going to work. I'm gonna learn the business, and take over for my old man when he retires.

I look at my husband, and smile from ear to ear. If only he knew that he now holds my life in his hands.
