The flight to Italy was long, but we managed to sleep and just relax through the whole thing. Thankfully we were able to take the private jet there, so we didn't have to worry about other people.
I woke up a few hours before landing to get everything ready. Poor Ethan was still so tired that he fell back asleep on the way to the hotel. I had the bellhop take our bags up, while I helped a very sleepy Ethan to the elevator. Once in the room I paid the bellhop and shut the door. Ethan was fast asleep, and I didn't want to wake him. I took his shoes off, tucked him under the sheets, and wrote a note telling him where to find me. I brushed the hair away from his eyes, and placed a kiss on his forehead.
"I love you." It was five o'clock here, so I went to the dinning room. It was elegantly done, with rows of tables covered in white table cloths. I went to the bar at the back and sat down. I didn't want to drink, so just asked for a cup of coffee. I was still tired from the flight, but not enough to go back to sleep.
"Hey, you alone?" I looked up and saw a pretty woman standing behind the bar. She handed me my coffee, and wiped one of the beer mugs.
"Oh, no my husband is in the room."
"Wow! Normally my gay-dar is on point." She tapped her head, her short red hair moving with each small poke. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Sorry, I don't mean to laugh. It's just realization finally dawned on me."
"About what?" She put the mug down and leaned forward. I stared at her for a moment, something about her seemed calming and nice. I decided she was trustworthy enough to talk to.
"Would you believe that just a few months ago I was as straight as they came. Then just looking into the eyes of my husband made me question everything?"
"I believe it." She handed me a plate with cookies, I don't know where she was hiding those. "Love has no gender. My grandma used to tell me 'the eyes are blind, but it is the heart that sees love clearly'."
"Your grandmother sounds like a smart woman." I took a sip from my coffee and looked at her. "I don't mean to be rude, but you aren't Italian are you." She laughed, and took a small bite of her cookie.
"No, my family is from a city in California. I got tired of living there, and I wanted to experience new things. So I saved enough money and moved to Italy. You learn a lot of things being away from home."
"I feel it." I drank the last if my coffee and put the cup down. "Thank you, um?" I just realized I didn't even ask her name.
"Call me Izzy, and you are?"
"Carter. Carter McClain-Kingman."
We shook hands, and I noticed how strong a grip she had."Ah! A hyphen. I guess having two strong males, it can be hard to decide which name you will be taking over. Am I to guess that your husband is Kingman-McClain?" I laughed but nodded my head.
"You are good. I should introduce you two sometime." She stuck her tongue out to the side, and gave me a mock salute. She was strange, and overly friendly, but seemed like a cool and sweet young woman.
"I'm here everyday, hope to see you guys soon." With that I walked out and back up to our room. When I got there Ethan wasn't in bed anymore, but I heard the shower running. I looked at the clock, it was almost six now. Was I really down there for almost an hour? It didn't even feel like it. The sun was setting, giving the sky a nice orange and pink color.
"You're back." I turned around and saw Ethan step out of the bathroom. A white towel around his lower half was the only thing covering him. His hair was still damped, with a few droplets of water falling onto his firm chest. I looked away after catching myself staring for too long, but that beautiful image was still clear in my mind.
"Yeah. I wasn't really tired so I went down to the bar. I had a cup of coffee." I sat down at edge of the bed, and watched as he walked around the room getting ready. "I met a nice girl downstairs." He stopped what he was doing and looked at me. He didn't seem angry or jealous, he just seemed interested.
"And? What's her name?" He went back to trying to put his underwear on while still keeping the towel in place. He was still a bit shy around me, but I didn't mind.
"Her name is Izzy. She was surprised when I told her I was married to you. She thought her 'gay-dar' was broken." He started laughing so much that he lost his balance, his leg caught on his underwear, causing him to fall on the bed next to me, The towel unraveling from his waist, and allowing me to see his assets in full display.
"Don't look!" He tried to cover my eyes with his hand, but I pinned them above his head with one hand instead. I kissed his pouting lips, and held his face between my hands. Once I pulled back, I stared into his eyes. Getting lost in the foggy mist held inside of them.
"Don't hide yourself from me. You are my husband, and I love every part of you. Ethan I want nothing more than to worship your body." I ran the back part of my thumb across his clear smooth skin. "I want to touch every part of you, until I have every part memorized. But I know you're not ready, and I am more than willing to wait. You are more than worth waiting for. So please, never hide your beautiful body from me again." I saw him swallow and lick his lips. I bend down and placed a sweet and tender kiss on his lips, and one on his cheek before getting up. I made my way to the doors leading outside, and took a seat on the balcony to let him finish changing in private.
After a few minutes I felt his hand on my shoulder. I looked up from the view, and saw him standing there. He was dressed in some dark blue sweats, and a black tank top. The tank top allowing me to see his lean muscular arms, and his flat abs. Any woman would die for a man like him. Handsome, tall, caring, honest, and pure. He was so innocent that sometimes I wonder if he was even real. And not just some character from a little girl's fantasy book.
"You wanna watch a movie?" I smiled at him before taking his hand, and kissing the silver ring on his finger.
"Yeah. I'd like that." I took his hand and we went back to bed. I took my shirt off, and changed into some dark sweats before laying down with him laying his head on my chest. Another thing I learned, is that Ethan loves my abs. He sometimes would subconsciously start running his hand on my stomach. I would have to think of clean thoughts so that I wouldn't let my arousal be shown. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. He's gonna be the death of me.
