Elecktra's point of view
I stand there, frozen. My limbs were numb and I couldn't move, I just stared at my unconscious friend, lying there in a pool of her sister's blood. I feel a pang of guilt rise in to me. Why did I act like a total bitch to her? WHY?! She's the most sweetest, the most innocent thing ever and I came along and hurt her. Why did I even do it? It's just that I felt... betrayed when I saw them two at the park, gazing into each other's eyes. Am I jealous? My thoughts are interrupted by some medics that push past me to reach Esme and Dylan. Why didn't they realise her sister was still in the car earlier? Idiots. I see them lift Esme in to a gurney and put her in a ambulance car. I hear someone shout ''Coma'' and realise that Esme's not dead. Hope blooms inside me. Dylan's mum goes in to to the ambulance car Esme's carried in. I see some other medics lift Dylan onto a gurney and put her in another ambulance car. Her dark curls sway in the breeze while they wheel her in the vehicle. Even when she's pale and unconscious she still manages to look beautiful. Her dad follows behind her and sits at the back of the ambulance car. Me and Hayden quickly follow him in the car and sit around the unconscious Dylan. Her face is ghostly pale, and her long eyelashes curl at the tips, touching her top eye-lid. I held my friend's fragile hand, it was as cold as ice. Instinctively, I start rubbing it to make it warmer. After what felt like a year, we reach the hospital.
As soon as we reach the hospital, loads of people come rushing to take Dylan in a ward and make her feel better. I always hated the hospital, it has this really weird smell of disinfectants, and various other substances which I can't seem to make out, exactly. Up ahead, I see doctors crowding around Esme and people pushing her gurney in a coma room. "Is she going to be fine, doctor?!" Dylan's mum begs the doctor, tears falling from her eyes. " We don't know yet. Her condition is very critical, and there's a high chance that we might not be able to save her, ma'am" the doctor replies with a grim expression on his face, and walks in to the coma room. Dylan's mum falls to the ground, crying her eyes out. I feel sorry for her and go up to her to comfort her.
Dylan's point of view
I wake up, and am blinded by a bright light. I hear voices murmuring and think I'm just hearing things, but then I hear someone whisper, "Dylan" softly and I notice Hayden looking down at me with a relieved expression on his face. At first I was confused where I am, and what happened. But once looking back at Hayden's face, it all comes flooding back to me like a giant wave, so much to the extent that it hurts. I notice my arm's wrapped in a bandage where Lilly grabbed it, it still hurt. I looked at Hayden for a minute when, suddenly I heard Esme's voice calling out my name, barely above a whisper but it was a desperate call. I looked around, but I couldn't see her anywhere. Hayden looked confused. I heard her voice again, louder, calling my name "DYLAN!", again I looked around and she wasn't there. But now, her voice was really loud, screaming, "DYLAN, DYLAN! HELP ME DYLAN, HELP!", they wouldn't stop. "ESME?! ESME?!" I scream, sitting up looking around for her frantically. She was nowhere to be seen. Her screams and yells were ringing in my ears, begging me to help her. "ESME?! ESME?!" I scream as loud as I can. I hear a distant voice crying, "Dylan?! Dylan?! Calm." But it's barely a whisper, all I can hear are Esme's desperate cries. "ESME! ESME! WHERE ARE YOU?! ESME!" I screeched. But all I could hear were her desperate cries getting louder and louder. "DYLAN?! DYLAN, HELP!" Esme's cries went on and on. I look around the hospital room for her but she was nowhere to be seen. And then suddenly when I look at Hayden, his face seemed to morph into Esme's dead, life-less face, her hair covered in her own blood, and her head cut open, bleeding. I scream, the sight of Esme's life-less face makes me sick. I try and get up out of the bed but I'm strapped in for some reason. Esme's dead face turns to me and keeps coming closer and closer, I scream and yell, "NO! NO! GO AWAY! GO AWAY!", I cover my eyes to block out her horrific face and continue screaming. I feel someone grip my arm tight and a sharp pain floods through my entire body and I black out.
