I couldn't do anything, frozen by fear. I could see Davey still had the boy and Needlz was trying to make sure neither of the slipped but it didn't seem as if they were going to be able to pull her back up. She was losing her grip and the police officers below we're just standing there, not even trying to possibly break her fall. If we didn't get her back on the ledge even, she was going to die.

"I can't hold on!" She screamed before losing hold.

"Nurse Manda!" Timmy cried, getting away from Davey and leaning over. My leg was killing me as I stood on it, screaming for help and feared the worse. We couldn't see much after a while, and I had no hope that I'd see her awake again. "No! Let me go!" Timmy screamed when someone pulled him away and I could feel my brothers pushing me back into the wheelchair so I wouldn't rebreak my leg.

I shook uncontrollably and pushed everyone away from me. "Ashes, c'mon, man, don't lose it now. She could be okay.." Drayven said, I knew that voice, it was the one he used when they first found Mary. "Let's take you and Timmy inside."

I could easily feel myself being moved, heard the elevator's ding to mark the floor we would be on. A nurse took Timmy on the fifth floor and we were on our to the emergency room being that we were with her when she fell. I clutched my cell phone and absently opened the Facebook app, realizing Amanda had it last might while her phone charged. Clicking on the last person who she talked to, I saw it was one of her sisters. 'Call me.' I gave my number and just sat still.

It was Davey who answered my phone when I couldn't and a doctor came outside. "Family of Amanda Fahr?" We all went over to the doctor to hear the news. "I'm doctor Cuddy. The officers were ready to catch a seven year old so she did hit the ground, however, they were able to lessen the fall." The doctor took a deep breath. "We have put her in a medically induced coma due to her hitting her head. We're trying to get hold of her sister."

"Can I see her?" I asked, my voice not sounding like my own.

"Yes, we will come get you when we have her in a room." With that, the doctor left.

"I'm going to call Becca back so I will be outside." Needlz said before walking outside.

It wasn't until an hour later that I was allowed back into Amanda's room. Nobody could get a hold of her sisters yet and I was trying to hold onto the tiniest bot of hope that she was going to wake up.

--Becca's POV--

"What are you talking about? She would have never been on the roof! She's petrified of heights." I holland over the phone.

"It's a long story but we need you here, the doc is trying to get a hold of you." I was shaking as I listened to Needlz. "How soon can you get to an airport!"

"I-I don't know. I'll call you back." I told him, before hanging up and going to my supervisor. Within four hours, Kayla and I were at the airport waiting for our flight. I didn't mind flying but I was extremely uneasy about the fact that Amanda was in a medically induced coma and I was supposed to say what treatment she was allowed? My head was killing me and we weren't going to have long enough layovers for me to smoke.

The flights weren't too long thank god, not to mention Davey and Needlz allowed me to smoke in the car. We went straight to the hospital and they let me straight back into the ICU. "What the hell happened?" I questioned the second I walked in and stopped for a minute.

It was painfully obvious that he was trying to hide the fact he was about to have a mental meltdown. "Sh...she was trying to help a kid. H...he was leaning over and she was afraid he'd jump from her arms and over the edge so she climbed up too. Needlz tried to help her down but she tripped. Probably because she hasn't slept much in the past two weeks."

"Ashes, she would have pulled those hours no matter what. She's done everything she could to make sure she could prove the hospital needs her." I said rather calmly. I signed everything I had to and sat to wait. It could take a week to a month and I couldn't bring myself to do what she would want me to.
