Watching her walk into the hospital, I sat there for a few minutes. I wanted to walk in after her and show her just what I wanted. And that wasn't just the really good sex because whatever higher power there might be knew that I wanted to make her offiicially mine. Though I couldn't, she already turned me down. Then came out with me. And slept with me. Yeah, cause that meant the girl had no interest.

Sighing to myself, I drove off to the studio to meet the guys for a quick practice session. "Hey, sorry I'm late getting back." I said as I walked into the studio and threw my jacket over a chair and grabbed the guitar that Dray brought for me. "Thanks for grabbing this for me."

"No prob." Dray said as he started to warm up.

"So, when you gonna ask her out?" Davey questioned as he stood by the door way.

"I'm not goint to. She's not interested." I told him flatly as I tuned my guitar.

"Bull shit." Needlz said as he stood behind Davey.

I rolled my eyes at both of them. I wasn't going to ask her again, no matter how much I so badly wanted to. Let's admit it, I'd have a better chace of playing guitar with Dave Navaro than getting a date with her. It was as simple as that. She was hot and completely out of my league. The fact that she liked our music didn't mean a thing, it didn't mean she liked specifically me. For all I knew, she could be wanting one of the other guys.

"Okay, let's just start practice okay?" I questioned and was very happy that everyone decided to drop the topic of my non existant love life.

"When you pick her up tonight, ask her out. We all know she's not a fuck and forget kind of girl." Drayven said, knowing full well that he was a hundred percent correct. Didn't mean I was going to tell him that.

"Will you guys drop it? Seriously, it was one good night. I"m not pushing my luck and looking like a complete ass."

"We won't drop it until you ask her, or we'll do it for you." Davey said as he handed our phones back to us and headed out to do his own thing. I meanwhile, jumped on my bike to take a nice, long drive. I needed to clear my head a bit, she was already invading it enough. She was worth it, totally worth it.

Without thinking about it, I stoped on the beach and sat by the edge of the water. I was going to bring her here tonight, just a small picnic with sparkling juice so she wouldn't get drunk again.Well, not tonight anyways. Before I gave myself time to question it, I ran back to my apartment and sent a text to Dray telling him to make sure that nobody got into the picnic basket and rode back out. Sure, it would be a few hours until I'd go get her, but I wanted to make sure everything would be perfect. Not to mention, it was chilled enough outside that nothing would go bad.

The waves would be just out of our reach, something I was sure she'd love. Once I got her text, I hurried to get to the hospital. Though it sounded like a line out of a chick flick, I had to see her again. I wanted to spend every second with her until I left for tour. Oh hell, tour. Good thing I have unlimited texting.

Okay, now I had to seriously stop. There was no saying she was going to say yes to me tonight, let alone still be talking to me in about three months when I leave for tour. Damn. Damn. Damn. Okay, focus on driving my bike before I got pulled over or managed to lose control because my mind is scattered. "Hey." I called when I saw her walking outside.

"Hey, thanks for giving me a ride back to my dorm." She said as she climbed onto the back of the bike and wrapped her arms around me, a flash of memory from last night came through my mind. Her touch was mesmerizing and gave me goosebumps. It really was amazing.

"It's no problem. Do you mind if we go for a small ride?"

"Sure, where are we going?" She asked as I started the bike up again.

"You'll see." I told her and sped off, feeling her arms tighten around my waist. I purposely took the long way to get to the beach. "Have you seen much of LA since you moved here?" I asked absently when we stopped at a red light.

"Not really, I've just stayed in and focused on school. Just the beach and back to campus really." She said gently, resting her chin on my shoulder. "I love the ride of your bike by the way."

"That must be the only reason you're coming out with me then."

"No...just one." She said with a small laugh. It was a short hour drive to the beach and I parked the bike by the picnic area.

"So...umm...I wasn't sure what you liked so I kinda just brought lunch meat..." I said nerviously. "And macaroni and potatoe salad. Basically a huge buffet thanks to Dray and Davey."

With a laugh she nodded her head a little. "Sounds perfect." She said as she sat on the blanket and I poured us two glasses of the sparkling juice. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." I said and gave her a small plate with a little bit of everything that she looked interested in. We sat and ate in almost complete silence, just looking out into the ocean.

"It's perfect out here, isn't it?" She asked gently.

"Yeah, it is." I told her gently, looking over at her. The moonlight really showed her true beauty, even at three in the morning and after a long shift.
